Instead of reading it like "pay 5 mana do nothing on turn 5", read it like: "pay 5 mana to cheat out a demon from your hand, it has stealth".
Sure, it can't attack on turn 6, but the fact that you'll have 6 free mana to do any shenanigans with a demon on board that the opponent couldn't remove by any means on the prior turn (no board swipe, no RNG effect - well, I guess it can get Mutanus'd) can be game winning.
May be good in a combo centered meta, like the current one. Will be bad in an hyper aggressive meta, unless you can abuse it with coming back mechanics like lifesteal, etc.

So the first Target is not random which makes this much better since you can guarantee freezing the biggest minion

Though there is a toxfin replacement

Historically it's been random

That's untrue. Electra is 1 extra gold for a 3/3. She's not bad just the support for her class was bad

That's untrue. they could release it for approval then hold it until the release date. It's not hard. Not that I think it's the end of the world, just a few more hours till the release and it's expected, not sure why they don't bother coordinating the release though.

IDK, for a tempo deck 3/4 isn't bad, and if it steals back the tempo lead from paladin which may be the hardest deck for warlock, I don't see why it might not be good. With mega draw warlock is one of the best equipped to have tech, especially tech that isn't a tempo loss.

The nature of virtue signaling is that it's an offshoot of privilege in many senses is a natural reaction to the automatic privilege that already existed. Unfortunately it may not be the best reaction but there does need to be adjustment. If you want to complain about virtue signaling you first have to offer valid alternatives to the free pass that the incumbency has.

Omg they came up with a card similar to another card in another game! You cracked the code! 😲
