It's a waste of time. Many people won't have the cards to put together fun decks to win, so it's either rage every game with crappy decks or lose every game on purpose and waste time.
Would have made more sense to give rewards for logging in every day.
Nice gender equality in all teams 2 dudes and 2 ladyas per team. Finally!
I find it sexist, mate. cause girls got there just for their gender.
It's sexist and abusive even to these girls, isn't it? sad crazy world...
Next events are gonna be 4 kittens in each team... i mean, they are cute and everybode loves them who cares if they don't know how to play HS
Sounds generalized to me. I've seen Slysssa, sunglitters and Nicholene play, and they are better than 99% of the dudes that played BG all time. If they are just here because of their gender it's sad, but we will see how they will perform. :)
Playing at 12k aint that great eather , I reached that in my first season playing bg's this year. I don't care about male or female , I want to see good BG players. RDU is a male but not a great BG player , can Easily name 10 who are far better , also content wise. Viktor (SunbaconRelaxer) Is a good BG streamer who plays at 15k and higher , he's in this tournament but there are loads more like him.
Kripp is just in it because he's Kripp , not because he's good. What also bothers me is that someone like Lunalove and to a lesser extend Dog & RDU get picked who stream allot of constructed over people with far higher ratings that spend all there time streaming BG's.
The only thing we can argue about is that these people get picked cause they can promote BG's so more people like the game. But than why is Siimiiz in it? She plays around 11-12k , only had 50-150 viewers in general and is Thijs his girlfriend.
Again I dont care if they put in all female or male , black , white or asian , aslong as they give it to people who actually deserve it most.
Benice92 , Moussytv , Asmodai , Awedragon , Xixo to name a few are on the same level as Viktor who is also a great bg Streamer btw. They all deliver great quality content , they might not be as colorfull as a person compared to some of the people on this roster but there far better players who put in allot of time and effort and are very informative.
uh, welcome to 2021. it's not about picking the most qualified, it's about picking the most oppressed (affirmative action).
I am not familiar with this case, or if it's true or not, but the result is really nothing new. It's the usual "cancel culture" and "me too" movement. This has been going on on social media sites for years, where someone gets accused of something, and it doesn't really matter if it's true or not, because the damage has been done, and the life of accused gets ruined. Forget about innocent until proven guilty. The business gets scared that non-customers are outraged, and thinks it makes them look bad, so they sweep things under the rug as fast as they can by separating themselves from the person in question. Not much you can do about it unless you're at the top of the food chain, where you'd be untouchable.
in the past, it felt like you could play the game with your old decks, and be successful on the ladder. as of last year, it seems like blizzard started focusing more on obsolescence, where your decks from last expansion have very little success against new ones. now it's all a bunch of "fill your board with tons of clones", and if you manage to remove them all, there's always a "repeat last turn" card. or there's something to clear your large minions with little effort while building up some otk. aggros which are rarely stopped by things like board clears or taunts. basically what i notice is that meta and rng heavily favor newer expansions, and best way to win with older "quality" decks is to either get paired with someone who doesn't know what they're doing, or to spend money on newer stuff. on top of that i noticed that my ability to earn gold has greatly decreased. so far i'm about 1.5-2k behind compared to the old system, and that's not even counting the 10 gold grinds which i never bothered doing.
I'm a F2P casual player who used to spend money in the past. I have zero interest in arena, battlegrounds (haven't looked into duels yet), or climbing to a legendary spot. I like playing Casual and Ranked games and trying out different decks. I've been fine with the amount of gold received for amount of effort and time spent acquiring it up to this point. If they're gonna make it more difficult, then I'm not gonna bother sticking around.
Blizzard got very greedy with the game over the past 2-3 of years by adding all kinds of little things to squeeze out more money out of its players in order to avoid having them pay for everything with gold. I just don't feel like jumping through additional hoops in order to have to keep up with all this in a game that has been out for more than five years. The devs decided to wait until the game's user base started dropping before they started implementing more features.
Hearthstone community equals Incels, white supremacist nerds who live in momma's basement and a bunch of gay folks who never got out of the closet because they taught them to hate "different" people.
have you even taken a moment to read what you wrote? not only was it racist, but homophobic as well. your opinions of someone else are exactly the thing which you're accusing others of doing.

another junk brawl which mostly requires you spending money on packs in order to build a winning deck.

Did you check your laptop manufacturer's site if there are newer graphics drivers available? Maybe it's causing the cards to display incorrectly.

won 3 in a row (including one mirror match) to complete a quest. thank you!

This one seems to work well:

50% winrate at bronze after 10 games, but fun deck to play nonetheless.

ancient mysteries/ice block/fireball mage stomps this, but other decks might not be as fortunate.
