Look again, the opponent does take 4 damage even though it only shows 2 in the hit mark, they just both happen at the same time... still unexpected behavior
You realize that in casual, if you are playing a truly bad deck, your hidden MMR brings you players also playing ad decks or at least playing good decks very badly. This hasn't really been a problem after you play 15 games or so.
Search the name of the boss here on hearthpwn, then look for decks under that name, sort by rating and just go down that list until you find one you can make. Pretty useful resource.
I think most people's problem is your speculation is that Hearthstone devs have explicitly said otherwise and a quick google search would have told you this.

"In casual and at Legend rank, we pair players with similar MMRs. In Ranked below legend, we pair people with similar star ranks instead of similar MMRs. Your rating is the only input that the matchmaker receives. It doesn’t know what deck you’re playing, what deck you just played with or against, or anything else, except for your rating."
P.S. It is also kind of weird to call yourself OP.
Valeera the Hollow has the highest played win rate in this entire Kingbane deck from hs replay and it even has a positive win rate to keep it off the mulligan. You cant say that of many 9 mana cards.
I agree that it will be Year of the Griffon or, at least, something that flies.
We have had: Water (Kraken), Land (Mammoth), so no we need Air.
I like the rest of OP's ideas/prediction. However, I think getting and Adventure is wishful thinking. I have the same wish, but I doubt it. Blizz *may* do something to help FTP, but I doubt it is putting an adventure back.
I'm pretty sure we'll get an adventure. Blizzard said the format would be 2 expansions and one adventure. The 3 expansion thing was a one time thing.
Blizzard didn't say that. They said that they will continue with the 3 expansions because it is more cards to change up gameplay and they liked how that turned out. here is the link to the article. PC Gamer article

I'm tired of Mecha'Thun already.

You make one win condition slightly more problematic while also doubling your win conditions. Worth it in many cases.

I'm playing it at rank 1 right now, and its been performing at 74% win rate in 23 games. Still good in the first few hours.

Thank you to the players taking time in an expansion cycle to play new decks for themselves and not just the top deck in the Meta.

You already will get a nice bump of dust from Hall of Fame cards, so just dust it if you find a card that you want more than it and can't afford.

Those people might be playing warlock if they could afford it.

raise your hand if you've played against warrior or shaman.

great idea... except for the buying of any packs of a set that rotates soon.
