LOKShadow posted a message on Smuggling the Good Stuff - Handbuff Paladin with StanCifkaPosted in: NewsThe decks don't necessarily have to be originally by him, but if he spends the time to write up a nice guide and includes some example video content, it makes for a nice article. Once he builds up a reputation for high quality content, then it's an easy first stop to look for some new decks. Of course it shouldn't mean that lesser-known players don't get a chance to get featured, but you should feel free to suggest some guides you think are really well-written to the mods on the site! They are busy writing up all kinds of articles including gathering all those tournament decklists, so it's pretty easy to overlook things.

Trollbert posted a message on Sneakily Grinding Your Opponent's Cards - Mill Rogue with StanCifkaPosted in: NewsIt's my favorite play style. It's a unique way to win. I've played it in various forms since Vanilla. One of my first decks was a Druid Mill (go naturalize!). It's a good way to play with the rule set and it punishes greedy control decks. The meta is full of those now so Mill is in a pretty healthy position.
Also because someone should say it... "I hate decks that kill me with minions. It's like taking advantage of a technicality that I lose when my life hits zero." -

Zence posted a message on Ben Thompson and Ben Brode Twitter Q&A - Sarge, More Classes, RNG, Ladder, and MorePosted in: NewsI don't think that Deathrattle arguement is all that fair. They made it sound like after Classic and Naxx it disappeared entirely when it has been one of the most prevalent mechanics of all time.
I really hope they do bring back some old mechanics. I really think a lot of them have a lot of potential, my favorite being Inspire, Quests, and Adapt.

Dallaen posted a message on The Hearthstone Global Games Grand Finals! Bonus: Semis Results & VODPosted in: NewsGames were good until the last one, literally shows why Jade Druids cominbation of cards available needs looking at badly, pretty much auto pilot play the moment he started dropping 8/8+ jades.
Also shows that if they had played a Geist in their deck the game would have been won by Dr hippi. Deck building is just as important. -

Thanks for your answer, I recently found it out too.
Looks like I will have to craft [card]Uther of the Ebon Blade[/card] rather than get it for free... ;)

Aside from the Death Knight heroes these legendaries and epics (I will not list the commons and rares):
Prince Keleseth, Professor Putricide, Ultimate Infestation, Glacial Mysteries, and ofc Skulking Geist so far. The rest will be decided today (tonight for me).

"Defeating the Lich King with every class gives you the Paladin Hero, Arthas."
Paladin's Death Knight hero is Uther of the Ebon Blade. So how is that? Will Arthas be a yet unrevealed neutral legendary that we will get?

Not sure about the Ghoul, but the Demon is superb!

Huge synergy with Treachery... ...but only because of the artwork. Kappa

Even with Treachery it is a 2 cards 7 mana 10/10 (5+5) plus a 2/2 to your opponent, which is not that great. Can be used with Evolve (but only if you evolve it as soon as possible). Otherwise: crap.

A neutral Argent Protector on steroids. Not so powerful steroids, though...
