posted a message on Quest Priest - 60%+ WR to Legend (Skawhomp's)

I've actually done surprisingly well with this deck at Legend Rank.

Key is getting a High Abbess Alura on turn 5 with coin or 6 with a spell and pulling Elek. A 7/14 with Taunt at that point in the game is difficult for any deck in the current meta to deal with.

Crossroads Watch Post, most will ignore until you get an Elek on it. Then they have to deal with it and if you have any other minions on the board that get buffed by spells your oppoenent plays, I can be auto-win.

The biggest issue I have with this desk is it's heavy minion based. Often you get run down if your opponent is able to apply minion pressure and control the board. Not a lot of tools in this desk to clear or swing the board.

Serena rarely feels good in this deck. I may sub out and put Mutanus in the deck to try and snipe quests. Also helps with quest because Elek's can be awkward to play at times.

I think initially Owl was run for Rattlegore but there isn't much of warrior/rattlegore in the meta at the moment.

Cascading Disaster and plague of flames should get you by vs other big minions.

posted a message on Is Evolve Shaman worse than broken Demon Hunter

I think I rather play vs Demon Hunter when it was over powered then what Evolve Shaman brings to the game. Spamming the board with minions and then upgrading them to a board that seems impossible to consistently remove feels worse to me. This deck seems more of the created by version that people despised when Mage was strong. Except your creating minions by Knuckles.

The only good counter is Stickyfinger which is difficult to consistently have on turn 5.

posted a message on Time to Hall of Fame Sorcerer's Apprentice

With the addition all so many cheap spells to Mage, the trend of nerfing 0 mana cost cards should continue with the rotation of Sorcerer's Apprentice.

This card gets way too much value now as a 2 mana 3/2 with all that it can enable.

In the upcoming restructure of the classic set, I would be shocked if they didn't make a change to Sorcerer's apprentice. I have to assume this is a card that always has to be looked at during expansion designs.

Not sure how many agree but if they are looking at making significant changes to the classic set, how many cards are more impact at this point in time than SA?

Just not enough control support for this to see play. Highlander Hunter wants aggressive minions that are a threat. It's well stated but this needs more support to see play.

In quest or OTK Hunter, this might have a chance. But again I think there needs to be another card that combo's with this. A cost effective AOE of some kind.

Really interesting card. 7 mana 6/8 that does nothing on board though makes it a difficult play. You could combo this with something that draws both players cards but seems like a lot to ask just to pull off the effect.

Kind of reminds me of Chromaggus where you want to try and play on an open board in hopes that it sticks. Then it can be a really nice card. But those opportunities are rare these days with all the removal options.

    Really good Arena card.

Seems situational as you'd want to copy something worth a 1/1 token. There is some deathrattle support in this expansion. This could be something you would consider in a deathrattle deck.

a lot of people complaining about Glide on turn 4. Why would a DH player hold Glide and then play it on turn 4? I guess if they thought they were playing against quest warlock but seems very situational. I think DH rather play as many minions through turn 4 as possible.

I think Glide becomes a much more situational card in a slower DH deck. If this is the case, you probably rather play vs the slower DH deck and face Glide then against tempo DH which is trying to just smorc you down as fast as possible.

I'm assuming the 5 cards from your deck are random?

Just to confirm, If DH has no cards in hand and top decks this, it's a draw 4 cards for 4 mana while also forcing the opponent to flush their hand and only draw 4?

    This seems crazy to me.

I think this is cool for priest. Might be tricky to find a home but doesn't take much for Priest to heal say 4 or 5 times to make this cost 3 or 4 for a nice tempo swing.

I like that Priest is at least getting alternative to removal cards and random draw effects.
