    b) youre paying for the cost of gaining the choose both effect, a vanilla 3-5 is basically unplayable. (compare it to auchenai / Circle, flash heal - which is arguably better)

    5-5 (+2/+1 from vanilla 3 drop) for 3 comes with the downside of a vanilla 3-5 (-2/-0 from a vanilla 4 drop) for 4 if you look at it that way. Master of Evolution gives you a 4-5 for 4 and a super upgrade on any minion, plus it combos with any card.

    On big cards (Wispers, Ancient of lore / war) , the effect cant be combod without a third card, and 3 card combos are usually inefficient.  

    also a 5-10 ancient usually dies to removal or trades for a lot, while a 10-10 ancient will die to the same removal and probably trade for the same minions.

    Nourish is probably the best outcome (or wispers), but youre still giving up your turn 5 (which tends to be pretty powerful)

    c) Since this is a 1 of in any deck - it makes stacking your deck with choose 1 effects - just for this effect - pretty bad. If more cards had this effect it would definitely be better.

    All in all, i dont think this card is as impactful as people hope it will be.

     First of all it isn't a vanilla 3/5,it is a must kill.Violet Teacher was played in Oil while at best you could get 1 or 2 tokens.And how the fuck is a 3/5 a -2/0 drop from a vanilla 4 drop???Last time I checked Yeti is a 4/5 and not a 5/5.
    P.S The effects trigger from left to right and most choose one effects are in the "wrong" order.Notably power of the wild,Cenarius,KotG.But 1 card is amazing with it which is Wisps of the Old gods which first will summon the wisps and then buff everything on the board.So unless they change the wording on some cards this maybe won't see play.
