OP post is riddled with jumps. Clearly set out to be in some way scathing toward HS as is often seen on these forums despite people having the option of just not engaging with the game if they have such a bad view of the game.

Having played Snap, I can categorically say it's not even comparable. For one it isn't really a CCG at its core, it's more of a mobile game with a CCG overlay. The "cards" do minimally interesting things, compared to some of the board states and interactions that can happen in HS/MTG etc.. 

OPs construction of language and basis for what they're talking about is incredibly rudimentary. I'd be open to more nuanced discussion than, here's some people who are currently rating Snap well compared to HS. 

Feeling some high-incel energy from this post.

Imagine being so impatient for the reveal of..."digital cards"... that you're willing to just put aside an awful situation that has happened to other people and their colleagues and just be like, "I don't care" or '*insert generic incel moaning here*'.

You can tell it's just the bottom of the barrel parts of the community, who can't just be grown up and be like, in light of what has happened, I can understand there being delays.

The spelling of "Women" is laden with irony when coupled with you hating what happened but not caring... next.

What an awful response to what's going on, surely by your own logic they could turn around and say to you, "we don't care about your problems, we have our own here"..

They've clearly stated that launch will still be going ahead as planned but you can't see beyond your own desires and impatience. You know there are other people reacting to the world around them too, beyond your "I want my reveals and release and I don't care about anything else because I perceive my own life as being hard"....

Pretty presumptuous and judgemental to apply "eccentric whale" (via bad grammar) to people you don't know.

For many it's not a matter of controlling their spending or having too much money to spare. £9.99 or £12.99 or £17.99 for a bundle isn't a lot of money to some people in relation to what they earn. Or perhaps they enjoy the game and it's a purchase they're happy to make, same with the mega-bundles. £69.99 just isn't alot of money for me to pay for a game I enjoy to play.

In regard to the company "not deserving your money". You realise they're not forcing you to buy anything? In fact you can play their entire game FOR FREE that it's their day job to develop, produce and publish. They are also a commercial entity, not a non-profit so, what do you expect from them, should they give even more away for free in addition to the game itself and everything they give away free in game??

You don't have to buy their cosmetics it's just a choice that is presented to you.

I think the comments on this thread show how Team 5 couldn't have 'won' anyways. They either communicate about the stream being pushed and they'd get hated on by sweaty little boys for not seeing the cards. Or they wouldn't communicate, and get hate for it by privileged grown men. The only way to not get any hate was to continue the stream regardless, which is what they wouldn't do. And rightfully so.

You need to ask yourself one simple question before complaining or spewing your toxicity all over those that work endlessly to get you your precious escape from your terrifying real life: Would I be happy with the actual improvement or action I'm suggesting? Because if the answer is "no", why bother?

I don't care about how many downvotes this gets. I care about a team that makes a great game that I love playing. They've given me one hell of a time during a difficult period in all our lives (Covid). No matter how messed up life was, I at least had that. In regards to what is happening at their workplace right now, if you can't find it in your heart to cut that same team some slack now, you're sad, pathetic and quite honestly, undeserving of their attention in the first place.

If the thought of Blizzard making money offends you, just don't buy any cosmetic items at all.

If the prices are too high, don't buy them.

If you don't like a thing you are being given for free, maybe be a little gracious and don't complain about it.
