posted a message on Marvel Snap vs Hearthstone

OP post is riddled with jumps. Clearly set out to be in some way scathing toward HS as is often seen on these forums despite people having the option of just not engaging with the game if they have such a bad view of the game.

Having played Snap, I can categorically say it's not even comparable. For one it isn't really a CCG at its core, it's more of a mobile game with a CCG overlay. The "cards" do minimally interesting things, compared to some of the board states and interactions that can happen in HS/MTG etc..

OPs construction of language and basis for what they're talking about is incredibly rudimentary. I'd be open to more nuanced discussion than, here's some people who are currently rating Snap well compared to HS.

One would have to spend the money themselves though wouldn't they....I give blizzard money for HS because I enjoy doing so.

posted a message on Expansion Announcement Postponed Till Thursday The 17th

People posting on here can be so pathetic. It's a 2 day delay....... Life stuff happens, deal with it. They wouldn't have delayed it unless they needed to delay it..simple as.

Ooft. Surprising how many childish people are on this forum. Nobody is forcing you to play or buy anything with real money. Saying the game is rigged is a grand claim, one which would require sufficiently grand evidence, the likes of which you won't find. (It's been discussed countless times on these forums) There is an MMR system.

It is a free to play game. A game that is free and you can choose to buy packs of cards and cosmetics.. "Choose". In regard to the meta and unfair decks and imbalance etc etc 'that card should not have been printed' etc... Welcome to designing a card game many many expansions in advance for a huge corporate entity, it's a difficult process and one in which player data is ultimately going to be used to determine if changes need to be made.

If you hate it so much, why don't you just stop playing?

posted a message on [BLIZZARD SUE / LAWSUIT] Hearthstone's card reveal schedule canceled after Alliestrasza and Lt. Eddy callouts

Imagine being so impatient for the reveal of..."digital cards"... that you're willing to just put aside an awful situation that has happened to other people and their colleagues and just be like, "I don't care" or '*insert generic incel moaning here*'.

You can tell it's just the bottom of the barrel parts of the community, who can't just be grown up and be like, in light of what has happened, I can understand there being delays.

    Just, grow up?

posted a message on I RETURN! How do I get back into it?

I'd just pick a deck archetype that you like the look of and focus your time and energy into playing just that deck (assuming you're limited by your collection)...compare what you have available to some standard decks that are floating around and try to find a fun fit.

Ignore all the people complaining it's an "RNG Fest" etc (who strangely are still on said games forum despite claiming the game is bad.) and just enjoy it. ALL card games with a face down deck have RNG. Good players work with this, they don't use it as an excuse or to mindlessly complain.

    Completely agree.

So many people litter these forums whose essential argument is that, Blizzard (a commercial entity) are awful for wanting to charge for products (that they're not forcing anyone to buy) in the game that they are able to play for free.

Pretty presumptuous and judgemental to apply "eccentric whale" (via bad grammar) to people you don't know.

For many it's not a matter of controlling their spending or having too much money to spare. £9.99 or £12.99 or £17.99 for a bundle isn't a lot of money to some people in relation to what they earn. Or perhaps they enjoy the game and it's a purchase they're happy to make, same with the mega-bundles. £69.99 just isn't alot of money for me to pay for a game I enjoy to play.

In regard to the company "not deserving your money". You realise they're not forcing you to buy anything? In fact you can play their entire game FOR FREE that it's their day job to develop, produce and publish. They are also a commercial entity, not a non-profit so, what do you expect from them, should they give even more away for free in addition to the game itself and everything they give away free in game??

You don't have to buy their cosmetics it's just a choice that is presented to you.

posted a message on Meta untouched after last patch

The meta seems fine, I don't get what anyone is taking issue with really. So there are a number of strong deck archetypes and classes which have higher win rates within certain bands of the standard ladder.

Welcome to card games? It's not like it's skewed particularly badly. You can pop a number of varieties of decks on ladder and hit legend and have fun. Really don't see the problem, they've stated that paladin is still a bit stronger than they intended so we'll likely see some change there
