Ah, Time Walk, the card that gave you extra mana, extra attacks, extra card draw, extra end/start of turn effects (don't remember if there were any in alpha/beta), and let your first wave of creatures ignore summon sickness.
This is, of course more expensive, and requires a lot more work to get out, but I think Mage just might deserve something like this by now.
I know, just....flashbacks is all. I'd almost forgotten about the new anti-aggro stuff, but this was just throwing up some red flags for me.
Keep in mind, though, it only took the addition of 2 cards to make Pirate Warrior the mess it is now, and still going strong after one of them was nerfed.
Not playing Mage, Rogue, or Druid? Well, if you can't find some other way to get rid of Patches or his friend, you're looking at the 2 mana equivalent of Small-Time Buccaneer. A 2 mana 5/2, a Shielded Minibot, or a better Haunted Creeper sounds like a great thing to add to pirate Warrior, doesn't it?
I just can't stop looking at it. A low-cost neutral adapt that benefits aggro. A card that everyone was expecting, and nobody wanted.
With the Rogue quest this means brann shadowcaster and this cards beats any lategame including jade Druid, just get unlimited 1 mana 5/5s with battlecry destroy a minion. Dane already did a similar thing with unlimited big game hunters but this is better and with the quest it will be unbeatable

Wouldn't bringing back discarded minions be the opposite of cruelty?

I don't even know.

No really, I don't even know............uh........Battle Rage? Maybe?

I'm sorry Galvadon, your friend here explained everything to me. I shouldn't have said what I did.
Here's to giving cards a chance, even without the whole picture.

*gasp*
By Jove, lads. Do you know what this means? With this many value cards, it's almost as if.....as if.........
Mage will be able to cast lots of spells! Unbelievable!

You know why people liked Webspinner? Undertaker, but that's not important right now.
It was ALSO good because it was a sort of card draw attached to a 1 drop, that also had some Beast synergy.
Liked.

Costs 2 mana instead of 3, cheap early removal for hunter, helps destroy 1 health weenies, not random.
I love you.

Discover cheap secrets, without having to put them in your deck. YES.
Discover a spell is great, and way easier to play than Ethereal Conjurer. I like this.

Something. in. the. PUNCH!
One and done, because I'm sick of a game going well, only to have a random aoe that doesn't even have the decency to hit the party crashers.

So, all you need is;
Fill your deck with minions and buff spells.
Hope you draw your minions before your spells, while having less cards in your opening hand thanks to the quest.
Hope your minions can stick around long enough and consistently enough to play your spells on them.
Hope YOU stick around long enough to actually complete the quest and play Galvadon.
And finally, hope your opponent doesn't have a Devolve ready to destroy every bit of your hard work for 2 mana.
I can see why there's only one Kaleidosaur left.

I think this would be funnier if it was some other class' card. Like, the Recruits got so lost they wound up in the wrong person's deck.
Regardless, I think Paladin deserves this more. A little early game wouldn't hurt, you know?
