If you discard a Cruel Dinomancer and then play your second and thus upon it's death summon that first Cruel Dinomancer, can that Cruel Dinomancer then summon...itself? Pretty sure that'd work.
This might be just what warlock needed. Finally a high value minion. At 6 it might be too slow, but depending on what you discarded earlier, this might lead to insane value plays. Naturally, it might be more a fit for mid-range warlock with soulfire and doomguard than a full-blown discard lock tho. Depends on how successful you can manipulate what you discard. Has potential to be a better Faceless Summoner.
After some more thinking, this might be a worse Cairne Bloodhoof most of the time, unless you play big minions that can get resurrected or a Doomguard or something.

hmmm nice comparison, you are probably right then except if you discarded a doomguard this card is quite MEH if you could control discards you would probably discard a doomguard on purpose..
So here's a quandary for you... If you discarded a Silverware Golem and it was (obviously) summoned, will it still count towards being discarded for this?

I'm going to say yes, just based on...feeling? I'm pretty sure the game would still regard it as discarded even if it was summoned as a result of said discard.
Enables slower Discard builds, easily. Just like Malcezaar's Imp negated discard's card advantage downside, this turns losing high-value resources into a strength. Spiritsinger Umbra might see play in this kind of deck.

I didn't have a signature so Flux added one for me.
cool card!
5/5 stat isn't bad really
Best case scenario you bring back ysera worst case scenario you bring back a 1/1 and then this becomes big time racketeer
Wouldn't bringing back discarded minions be the opposite of cruelty?
Oh, I discarded my other Doomguard when I played one last turn? That works nicely...
More discard crap for warlock blizzard, more. Warlock completely lost its identity.
Cool idea for a card. But I doubt this will see play in Discardlock.
edit: It's a shame they didn't make this a Demon
"Oh no, I discarded my Doomguard"
Just be careful not to discard your Cruel Dinomancer!

It's Cruel Dinomancers all the way down.

So they pushed discard archetype to the wrong direction I am sad rip Warlock in next meta.

We got graveyard mechanic boys and girls.
Great in a midrange discard deck
