Good for the game because combo is bad for a game with so few ways to counter it.

Oh ok. So having combo countered by one class only is good for the game, right?

    Basically it goes like this:

Ramp pala: aims at an unanswerable board by turn 6.

Token druid: aims at an unanswerable board by turn 6

Weapon/stealth rogue: aims at having you killed by turn 6

And then we still have DH, hunter, pure pala, whirlkick rogue and zoo warlock with their slow approach. For a change of pace.

I hate them, from 1 mana up to the rest roping is a cancer.

They just hope to win with concedes by irritating.

This is really bad, come on I don't have much playtime, wasting it with roping is everything beside fun. Maybe blizzard should make 2 version or 2 settings, 1 standard and 1 fast where you have nozdormu times or so (maybe bit slower than nozdormu but you get the point)

Casual or ladder? Just trying to figure out if I'm one of those ropers... You know, I enjoy roping casual aggro-tier1-netdecking-idiots from time to time...

    Ways to fix Tickatus:

    • Make him 8 mana - harder to corrupt, delays playing him a bit.  6 mana is just too low for such a powerhouse card.
    • Make his effect destroy 3 cards, rather than 5

...and what 9+ mana card would you ever play in warlock, exactly, outside yashaarj?

That's called deckbuilding and normal constraints for playing a high reward card.

So, again, what 9+ card would you put in your list, deckbuilder?

Jaraxxus? Malygos? Alex? Sathrovarr? an uncorrupted clown? Nozdormu? Ysera? the bunny? scrapyard colossus? colossus of the moon? Phaoris? Or wait... I GOT IT!!! DEATHWING!!! YEAH, THAT'S THE PLAY! TA-DAH!!! TAKE THAT, OPPONENT!!! NOW GET MY TIC... DOH!!!

Nerfing it to 8 mana wouldn't make sense since there are currently no viable 9+ drops for warlock out there to corrupt it. The solution is simple: nerf the effect to 3 cards! Still strong, still potentially deadly for combo and control but no more annihilating, just as useless against aggro. And limit cascading disaster to a single corrupt. Period.

I've started insta-conceding against them. It's completely pointless.

I mean, the warlock's corrupt package makes the odds impossible for any control/combo player out there. Its power level, compared to other classes' package is simply ridiculous. This is beyond stupid...

10 cards milled (at least, and only if they feel like they need to) plus 12 minions obliterated (no matter their size) for 18 mana.

posted a message on Tickatus would have the perfect nerf, yet Blizzard...

    Question is different though.

It's not about how relevant the deck is.

Tickatus won't ever see a chance to see the board in an aggro matchup, agreed. It's basically a dead card in those matchups.

Don't we all agree though that in a control/combo matchup (in combination with y'shaarj, of course) its effect is unfair and op, reducing the opponent's chances to win by roughly 75/80%?!?

Again. It would be a 6-mana 8/8 demon that happens to burn 3 cards from the opponent's deck. I'm completely missing the "that would make it totally unplayable" argument. It's no-sense.

They only need to change the text to "3 cards" instead of "5 cards" and there you are. Still perfectly playable and hurts but doesn't obliterate combo and control. So simple. And still they don't seem to care at all. Why, it's beyond me. The dust refund?  I would never dust such a card, honestly, even with the nerf.

The 0 mana 10 drop and the desert hare are the big problems.

If the hare just spawned 2 0 mana 1/1's, that'd solve that issue. As for the 3/4 rush that evolves into a 10 drop.... uh... I don't know; maybe have it's played mana cost be it's actual mana cost.

The other big issue is hoard pillager. They should nerf it to "re-equip a weapon with 1 durability" or maybe improve its stats and reword the effect into "puts a destroyed weapon in your hand".
