Thanks for the comments. In my defence, there are arcane missiles, arcane explosion, flamewakers when playing this against Tempo Mage.
Against Paladin, there are squires and muster for battles.
In general against other decks, there are Knife Jugglers, haunted creeps.
I think the card is pretty good against some decks like Control Warrior and Handlocks, because you can overwhelm them and not fearing board removal. Of course like you said, theres a chance they silence the dreadsteed. But i would see this as a faster dreadsteed deck with a repercussion. ( I doubt most warriors run silence as well)
On a side note, i really like Doom Seer and Vaelastras as well. More of Doom seer as you can control the situation. Dies to BGH.
Vaelastras is less within your control. I think the draw two cards will become a liability if they dont impact your play as much as you want and you cant control when the 3rd card is drawn. I mean you could very well draw the 3rd Card Immediately after drawing the first Burning Adrenaline
One thing to note about Vael, if you have a full hand and draw one of the Burning Adrenalines, its destroyed and can't trigger the losing condition.
Fitting with the new LoE theme, I had a similar idea earlier this week:
This costs 1 less than Burgle and Thoughtsteal but it is a conditional Secret that gives you the two Discover cards that your opponent didn't choose. Also, the opponent knows which two cards you received.
I'm just gonna say Will'o-wisp is the most ridiculous card I've ever seen (Silence their deathrattle and then immediately trigger it for 0, wut?), and borderline circumventing the contest, it's a 0-cost spell, not a minion, which Priest already has.
this. such circumventions can hardly be restricted (there are always ways), therefore are allowed, but i've hoped for the contesters and voters to understand the theme - and it worked nearly out. In the whole final there is only one circumventing - but sadly it leads :-/
It sure could have been a spell.. but big game hunter is also more a spell than it is a minion... Every (neutral) battlecry minion in the game could be seen as a "(neutral) spell" that also summons a minion when played. So according to your logic big game hunter is a valid minion, and will o wisp is not just because it dies when played? I don't agree with that logic.
Another issue with the card is there is already a 0 mana Priest spell with "Silence a minion." (same as the first part of Will-O'-Wisp's effect). So, there would be zero reason to ever play Silence again.
I had thought about that but went with replace just for thematic flavor. Discard could work too but would have to note that it discards BEFORE the chosen legendary goes into hand.
I already posted a card but thought this would be cool if someone can improve name/effect:
Dr. Jones 6/5/4 Battlecry: Discover a Legendary minion. Summon it and discard your hand.
The effect is similar to the famous Raiders of the Lost Ark scene.
Wait to play it when your hand is low or empty for great value. Since you summon the Legendary, Battlecries aren't activated so it's a little weaker than drawing and playing it in that regard.
Hey i just saw on some entries, also mine before i changed it that many times when you write "Discovers" (in whatever context that adds an "s") it bolds out Discover and the "s" isn't bold. You can fix this by bolding out only the "s" by itself!
I think some people don't understand that Discover only picks from cards from the hero's class, not out of the pool of every card.
Well, technically it picks from a pool of neutral cards and that hero's class cards.

Anyone have a different implementation of this spell? Would love to see it.

I will lose faith in this competition if Will-O'-Wisp wins to be honest.

This utilizes the new Discover keyword. What do you think of the stats?
