So, I managed to open both this guy and Raza on the first day of the expansion. And it turns out he's PRETTY GOOD if you manage to get the raza buff off. I used him in a shadow priest deck which contained 2 shadow forms. If used correctly you can basically get a ton of damage off for free. With that, I don't really see him seeing any play with any other classes, especially after the next standard cycle. He just doesn't do enough and dies too easily which means you have to use him the same turn as all the spells you plan on using. I'm glad I got him though because he's a pretty fun card.
I think the stats are okay. Basically the taunt and Elusive tags cost two mana, and you will almost certainly get more than two mana's worth of trade ins. While yes, taunt and elusive generally only cost 0-.5 mana, when combo'd together it's basically impossible to remove.
The irony is that a normal zoo is still more played, and slightly better than C'thun zoo. I realize this comment was made looking forward, but looking back it's sad that the c'thun variant of zoo didn't really come to fruition.
