    Best combo ever:

Turn 1: Argent SquireCoinArgent Squire. Turn 2: Shielded Minibot. Turn 3: Brann Bronzebeard. Turn 4: Hand of Protection on Brann and then make a 27/27 Blood Knight.

    Who wanna try?

Good deck!!! I won at first time, without using Doomsayer... I was able to kill one trogg at turn 2 with Axe and he used confuse on second trogg at his turn, got 5 on face twice, but killed the mothafucka!

Also, i dont have 2 bouncing blades, replace the second one with bash (helped me at midgame)

(ofc i'm talking about Heroic mode)

Hmm...I hope it is a Common. Since it is a fairly good alternative to Dr. Boom in Control Warrior. But not by much.

Jesus, it's an ADVENTURE. Doesn't matter if the card is common or epic. And no, it's not alternative to Boom. By any means.
     it matters to arena...

posted a message on Should older adventures be free for new players?
    Quote from coffeefreak >>

I have been playing for about 5 or 6 months, so don't consider myself an "old" player but am no longer a "new" one, either.

Some players want to save up gold and use that toward adventures and not spend any money. Other players are willing to spend some money on the game. There should be an advantage for players who are willing to spend money on the game. A newer player can purchase the adventures if they don't want to grind gold for them. If Blizzard starts discounting older adventures or making them free, it could affect paying players' purchasing decisions on future adventures.

of course not... or will you wait a whole year to get a card just to not pay for it?

I'll not read the whole topic (18 pages), idk if someone had the same idea. If blizzard likes rng so much, why not make warsong commander "whenever you play a minion with 3 or less attack, it has 50% chance to give it charge"

This will never happend, and i think most people would understand that if they were to think some harder. As the things that you are buying don't lose value over time. See it like this, the adventures are intellectual property like "apple" and don't goes bad over time. It might even go up or sometimes down depending on the meta, sometimes sludge blecher is good sometimes he's bad, but he's a card nonetheless. The adventures aren't like an iphone 4 which will become less good the longer time goes on. An Iphone 6 is better than an iphone 4, but the intellectual property remains the same in theory. Adventures are not an apple pie, they are the recipe of an apple pie. An apple pie will lose value over time, the recipe will not.

Hence there's no reason to make those adventures free or cheeper. Not when they've just been realeased or after 4 years. Statement as "those who starts earlier will be better or have more cards" are things that are objectivly true just like "those with more time can play games more", "those with more money can buy more things". These are things that are true by defintion and can and should be conderied as physics, blizzard cannot change physics or time in this world. Hence those arguements have no value, not here or in any theoretical world. Hence they should be dismissed.

I will use your comment to explain some few things:

No1 is complaying that it is hard. Maybe a lot of ppl thinks it is, but it's not the core of this thread.

The idea of making it free or at least cheaper is just a marketing action. I will draw it to those that didn't get it:

Let's think that 100 new players just downloaded the game. From that, some ppl dont even pass the 5 or 6 BORING games (blizzard should review that) to get begginers cards. After that, some will find the game boring cuz they are facing ppl with cards that they just don't have. From here, there's 4 possible ways: 1 - they buy everything to start competitive playing. 2 - they spent a little bit of money and keep playing, buying some new expansions. 3 - they don't spent money at all and continue playing cuz it's fun. 4 - they stop playing.

The last is totally shit to blizzard. They must have the numbers of this, i don't have it, but i can imagine. The thing is: they must get ppl to first and second option to get money. It's simple!

Now you can see, the post i created was different from this one, i was not literally asking if it should be free, but if it could "help" the game to survive longterm and increase blizzard profit.

posted a message on Should older adventures be free for new players?

I made two other questions that were lost after thread merge, the first was to check if ppl would still buy a new adventure or wait till it becomes old (of course the majority answered that would buy it, i think only 1 or 2 would wait till be free). The second asked about how long to determine an adventure old, 1 year was winning by far.

Never going to happen, and never should happen.

    1. Bad for Blizzard's profits.

    2. Slap in the face to people who paid for the content. Oh hey, you spent a month farming gold or dropped $25 to play this adventure and unlock these cards? Too bad, now literally everyone else gets them for FREE.

I think they could make the first wing of an old adventure free after the new adventure launches as a sort of introduction for newbies, but the whole thing will never be free for the reasons I listed above.

They do it with WoW expansions, why not Hearthstone?

While I do agree, that eventually the expansions should have their prices reduced, if not go completely free, the reason why the expansions in WoW are free is because you NEED to have the previous expansions in WoW before advancing to the new one. In Hearthstone, you don't need Naxxaramas or BRM to play the rest of the game.

Try to play hunter or mage without mad scientist, or warrior without death's bite... Some cards are essential...

First of all, i payed for it (money) and won't be pissed off! So we must not generalize. Those who payed for it got it before the others.

Second: i'm talking about a marketing strategy. I don't know the numbers, but i'm pretty sure if blizzards put all in paper before and after doing this, their profit will increase.

nice to know that it happened to WoW expansions (never played it).

And b4 someone think that I'm new to this game, I play it since launch, got legend at NA server and rank 5 in  3 days with a blank account at EU server ( no money expent) . I don't think it's a pay to win game, but i think blizzard should increase the "fun" factor for new players.

Soon the game will get too harsh to new players, plus the ppl who left the game for any reason, the community will decrease and the game can just "end"! And i dont want that at all. That's why we cannot be gready and think "i paid for it and now it's free" cuz it's better then "I paid for it and no1 plays it anymore".

First of all, I wanna appologize for my english, not my first language =D

Some days ago, Ben Brode posted a video about Blizzards concearns about new players leaving the game because it's hard to win. And there's the ever wondering: "Is this a pay to win game?" I'm not concearned with the last, only about new players.

I think that sometimes you have to give something to get more longterm and I don't think that the new cards are "exciting" enough to new players. Maybe if Curse of Naxxramas (for sure now) and even Blackrock Mountain (maybe later) were free, ppl could have decent rare, epic and legendary cards to play. Maybe it could be settled an "exparation date" for adventure expansions, like one year, six months or even earlier. It'll be a long time since the launch and the meta change (I think that a month is like a year).

I don't wanna be long, even it seems necessary to explain my thoughts. I can edit it some other time and add some info, or we can chat on the forum.

I created some pools, let's see what you guys (and girls) think.

posted a message on Thoughts About Meta Trend Lists? Is It Crap?

These tier decks analysis usually works for rank3-Legend range... You have to figure out the meta you're in everytime, cuz it changes really fast =D

And i don't saw any post after TGT from these teams. They are probably still analysing the new meta possibilities.
