posted a message on Big priest is getting out of hand

People say big priest can be countered as if there is a system in the game that let's you know what deck your next opponent is playing lmao. Of course some decks counter it but maybe people don't like playing those and they're not guaranteed to always face Big Priests and their deck might be useless against other decks.

If you feel bad for Priest, go play wild for 10 minutes and you will change your mind and instead, dare I say it, you will hate it with a passion

posted a message on What "perfect" card did you get from Zephrys the Great

It depends on the situation yeah. If you play it on curve on an empty board you will always get the choice of the new 3/2 Neutral Dragon legendary, Animal Companion and Wild Growth and if you play it against an opponent who has a weapon you always get Ooze and aginst taunts you get the guy who destroys taunts. So far those have been my most common choices but have also got Fireball and against a Big Priest I got Hex but the next turn he just shadow essenced into Vargoth anyway. God damn big priest.... What were we talking about? Oh yeah. definitely worth the craft, one of the best, if not the best card you can have in a no duplicates deck.

I think it's bad, it doesn't really help you against aggro. Opponent will skip the turn most of times

That does help though. If they skip, then it's a 4 mana prevent X amount of damage/heal for X amount of damage.

I agree on first glance it looks bad but a 4 mana 3/10 is a great taunt and it keeps itself healthy by shuffling itself back in. I can't say it will be an amazing card but definitely an interesting one and I think it might surprise people. At the very least it is actually a viable anti-fatigue card

Conservative censorship laws created by liberal tech companies? Mate, you're not making any sense here. It's not about being conservative, this is about not being offensive to the loud minority and the LGBTQ trashfire that has completely engulfed Blizzard..

Yeah it's totally horrible if young teens get to see a scantily clad demon and a harpy in a sexually suggestive pose in a card game but It's totally okay to make TV shows of teenagers who're going through a sex change or a 10 year old kid who dresses in women's clothings and goes to strip at gay bars. The Liberal agenda would never want to harm the minds of the youth, no way

posted a message on How to stop Netdecking forever. *Share*

Those who kiss the unwashed feet of their masters will always defend the sweet taste it leaves on their lips. Don't expect people here to side with you, they are guilty of what you accuse them of.

I'm of the belief that netdecking can be heavily discouraged by not having sites whose whole purpose is to track the statistics of certain decks or flaunt the win rate percentages. I was against this site having deck win rates plastered on the front page and luckily they removed it but this is still a place to find premade decks sadly but without the win rate at the front page, it looks a hell of a lot better (Doesn't matter since it's going to be shut down anyway)

People would still play with decks that their favourite streamer plays with or with the deck some pro used at a tournament but at least the casuals would be left to their own devićes, praying they are lazy enough not to google which premade decks are the best

posted a message on What your opinion on the Dalaran Heist?

I was a big fan of the Kobolds dungeon run, I was even playing it on and off a few weeks before Dalaran Heist came out, so I liked Dalaran instantly and played it well into the night. It has its flaws though. You get a lot of bosses and new hero powers and premade starting decks but the card pool you can choose from after defeating bosses seems to be much smaller for some reason and some of the Special cards you can get seem just terrible, especially since there are a few auto picks so all others just look even worse in comparison.

The difficulty is a slight problem as well, normal mode is wayyy too easy and heroic mode is basically as hard or even slightly less hard than the Dungeon run was. Why I am not that bothered by this is because I feel the difficulty spike was always brough into these solo adventures by having your opponent constalty clear your boards, minions and summon low cost huge minions themselves. That's not a good way to handle difficulty so I am more happy it being easier but more fun than frustratingly difficult.

All in all, it's about 7/10 for me, it's super fun but at the same time the limited choices of cards you get and the way they seem to reapeat themselves is slightly annoying. Especially considering now that you get certain premade decks, you already have synergies you have to consider from the start, before choosing extra cards. The tavern stops help with this but the 0 cost remove a minion from your deck card is not (annoyingly) ever present when visiting it.

posted a message on The new expansion finished off a dying game

Sad that it has come to this but the newest expansion did not even bring 5 minutes of fun with it. The rotation seemed like it might be a good thing, finally Odd and Even decks are going to be taken behind the shed and be shot and new and fun cards seem to be coming to Standard. Except the new cards that came were all clearly designed for one deck in mind - Blizzard foolishly printed cards for each class that support only one archetype - Thief for rogue, Bomb for Warrior etc. This means upon arrival, the meta has already been set and within 30 minutes of playing the new Standard, you realise you're just facing the same 3-4 decks in a row, all just copy pasted from the same place online.

"Well how about you give Wild a go?" My brain told me. Well I didn't even have to think about switching to wild because with the release of the new Legendary before the expansion came out, it was clear Big Priest was just going to get worse, not to mention all the other resurrect cards they added. Every time you go to play in Wild, you pray it is not big priest and if it is, you concede turn 4 when they play Barnes or try to desperately kill them before turn 6 if they don't have Barnes.

Ok, ladder is clearly not for your taste right now, perhaps you go play Casual to test out some ideas you have wiith the new cards... Oh look, in casual I am being queued up against Odd Paladins and Big Priests again, just like on wild ladder. Amazing.

In conclusion, I think Blizzard are too far gone off the road. They can't nerf Big Priest anymore, too many cards need to be nerfed and it won't matter in the end anyway if you change them by 1 mana, their deck is built around stalling anyway. This means wild is unplayable for anyone slightly control oriented. I don't think the blame is only on Blizzard. The blame also lies on sites like this and others, who advertise the highest win % decks around front and center, which leads to everyone playing the same decks that are dominating the meta.
