Ok, i try to explain it again. I am not really familiar how it works with online games. What part is calculated on a server and what part on the computer. I have no idea about such details. I just made an observation which gave me the idea that it "could be" not totally random. I know the sample is not big enough, but i never claimed it is not random. But that is how it works. You make a observation, create a question, make a hypothesis and then test it with a big sample. Since there can be an easy answer like it is in this case, i just asked here. It could be the confirmation bios, that is true, but that was not a sufficent answer for me, because of two reasons. First of all, with the confirmation bios you come to the conclusion that is not randomly even though it is randomly. However, if it is not randomly you come to the same conclusion. So in the answer was already assumed that it is randomly, but without saying the reason. The second reason is, that i know that it was not a confirmation bios. It was really like i said. Was just a big coincidence. I know that many people dont see  the confirmation bios, but i was aware of it in this case. And one reason why i was considering it is, that i know a little statistic and how much a person can be tricked by his mind. I dont know why it upset you so much that i mentioned that i am a mathematician (since you asked, according to the dictionary it is the right spelling :) ). I simple wanted to know if someone knows the answer and i was just pretty sure that what i experienced was not a confirmation bios. As i said, that i dont think that it is a confirmation bios doesnt mean that it is not random. And to your answer. Since it was not clear to me that the random numbers are calculated on the server or on the computers, it makes a difference when the numbers are generated with two different distributions, even though they are still random.

I just wanted to emphasis that i am aware of the confirmation bias. It was just an observation i made and i was wondering if there could be differences. I never said it is like that. So i was asking here in the hope to get a reasonable answer and not have to run stats. Why having the effort of doing all the test when there is an answer? With the answer from Thesolis i see that it is equal and it was just a coincidence. If i hadn't got an answer like that, maybe i would have done it ^^

I am aware of that and i was considering it as well. As a mathematicion i have a good understanding of statistics and i know that you can be tricked by that really easy and that you often have to consider other circumstanzes, too. However, with KT i am pretty sure it was always like that. That doesnt mean that it is not randomly, even though it is pretty unlike that this happens. I know that, but it made me thinking. Maybe i will make a test one day, when i have plenty of time ^^

And even when it uses RNG, it doesn't mean that it is really randomly. The numbers are always depending on something, like time for example, and depending on your RNG you can get good or bad random numbers.

    Hi guys,
i have a question about Hearthstone which have been in my mind lately. Maybe it is already common knowledge in the community, but i couldnt find anything about it. So i am wondering if it makes a difference which computer you use? I mean not the Hardware, if fast processor or not. It is just the idea that hearthstone acts different on different Computers. I saw once a movie on YouTube and the guy was telling that whenever he use the Tinkmaster and he plays with his Laptop he changed a minion in a squirrel. Another thing i observed is, that almost always when i played against KT on herioc he got the best of my minions i had on the board. When i had a molten giant he always took him. So it is pretty unlike, if it would be really randomly, but i know that this is not happening for other players. A third reason why i am wondering is, that i played against the heroic Sapphiron with my warrior deck several times with two different computers. With one of them i won more then 70% of the games and with the other was less then 50%. I didnt make a statistic, but i played really often and i am pretty sure that there is a significant difference.

So, what is your opinion? Do you know something about it or did you made similar experiences?
