I mean yeah, they look sweet, but from a utilitarian point of view, that's probably one less good legendary in your collection. ;)

    Quote from Remhouse >>
You don't understand the basic concept of Wild and Standard. Wild is where you have no limits, no boundaries.
Standard is where the real challenge begins. Especially in ranked Standard. See the difference.

Sorry dude, maybe the majority of people in this thread agree with you, but this makes you sound fucking idiotic. If you were familiar with I don't know, Magic The Gathering (y'know, the OG of ccg's), then you would know that "eternal formats" (IE ones whose cardpool never rotates except when a card has to be banned for the sake of balance) are super skill intensive. In MtG, the eternal formats are 'Legacy' and 'Vintage.' Go look them up and take a look at the viable decks in each of those formats, compared to whatever the decks to beat in Standard MtG are at the moment. Go ahead.
Point being: Eternal formats tend to be very fast and feature combos which are *just this close* to being OP. They also tend to feature a much more diverse pool of viable decks than Standard, which tends to feature more linear "flavor of the month" type of deck-building, wherein each class basically has one or two viable strategies they can pursue at any given time. This tends to make Standard more accessible to newer players than Eternal (Wild), because they have to spend less on average to get a decent deck, and they're less overwhelmed by all the available strategies and having to evaluate such a large card pool. This is kind of a nice way of saying that Standard tends to be a little easier and require less thought.
If you don't see how this applies to the current state of Hearthstone, and if you choose to try to shit on people who choose to enjoy Wild, go get an education on the topics you want to speak about. Seriously.
    Mic drop.

N'Zoth is legit. He was the first legendary craft I made (helped that I pulled Y'Shaarj and Yogg Saron in my 50 packs, so I kinda wanted my favorite of the Old Gods to complete the set.)

I'd hold off on the golden legendaries though. Each one you craft is one less legendary that you can craft when the next expansion drops (or right now). Just food for thought.

    No help y'all?

    Thinking of:

Class Legendaries: Ragnaros Lightlord, Hallazeal the Ascended, Al'Akir The Windlord, Fandral Staghelm, Xaril the Poisoned Mind, Princess Huhuran, Malkorok, Grommash Hellscream, Mal'Ganis, Vol'Jin

Neutrals: The Black Knight, Harrison Jones, Cairne, Ysera, Leeroy Jenkins, Gormok the Impaler

I play about 50/50 Standard and Wild, so just tell me what you think are the most powerful cards in either format, please.

...And I already have just about all the other cards that you'd probably recommend, so don't worry about shit I'm leaving out unless you just really want to check to make sure I have it.

I'm torn. I have enough for one or two legendaries, and this is my list I'm pondering:

Ragnaros Lightlord, Hallazeal the Ascended, Fandral Staghelm, Xaril the Poisoned Mind, Princess Huhuran, Malkorok, Al'Akir The Windlord, The Black Knight, Harrison Jones, Cairne, Grommash Hellscream, Ysera, Leeroy Jenkins, Gormok the Impaler, Mal'Ganis, Vol'Jin

I will play just as much Wild as Standard, possibly more once the thrill of Standard wears off. I mostly play midrange/ control, although I play some aggro as well. Not a whole lot of face decks, unless they're just super good. My favorite classes are probably Mage, Warlock, and Paladin. But I enjoy playing just about everything besides Priest, lol.

Am I the only person that thinks this could become really good in Standard? I'm considering crafting one or two...

    Win more card?

Not really. Unless you mean like "win more often." ;)

posted a message on What was your first WOG Legendary?

Not one, but two copies of Y'Shaarj, lmao. It's ok though, I also got Soggoth and Yogg-Saron from the same 50 packs. ^_^

Now granted I'm not super excited about any of those specifically, but I'll take 4 legendaries in 50 packs. :)

Do y'all think I should dust my copies of Force of Nature while they're still worth the full value? I'm a little conflicted if I think it's still going to be in any viable decks.

Do y'all think I should just go ahead and dust mine? I'm a little conflicted. I've already gotten rid of my Blade Flurries, Arcane Golems, and one Ancient of Lore. Been debating dusting the Molten Giants and the Force of Natures...

You don't really play it except in a deck with Inner Fire, Djinni of Zephyrs, and dumb shit along those lines. Nightmare belongs in a creature enhancement deck. Will it be top tier? Most likely not. Is it unimaginably bad, garbage tier? Probably not. Assuming this is Standard we're talking about, then slow, janky combos actually have somewhat of a shot.

Oh and also Scaled Nightmare has potential, at least in Priest.

I feel like N'Zoth at least is going to be a must have (for me at least) if I'm going to be playing Standard at all though... Probably also at least Hallazeal and/ or Fandral - I have a feeling these two guys are going to be good in Wild as well.

And I should have made it clearer  -- I prioritize Wild over Standard, so there's no use in telling me to get stuff from Classic above anything else because it's evergreen and blah blah blah. I want the strongest cards to make the best decks. Period. (And secondarily, I want to have like one or two good Standard decks at any given time, assuming I can afford to keep up with the product push.)

    Greetings, Crafty McCraftersons

Please help me prioritize the following:

Edwin Van Cleef, Grommash Hellscream, Harrison Jones, The Black Knight, Cairne Bloodhoof (eh, maybe I shouldn't have dusted this guy after all), Leeroy Jenkins, Baron Geddon, Ragnaros the Firelord, Ysera, Malygos

    Vol'Jin, Mal'Ganis

    Nexus Champion Saraad

Fandral Staghelm, Ragnaros, Lightlord, Hallazeal the Ascended, Malkorok, N'Zoth the Corruptor, Twin Emperor Veklor

... Please feel free to let me know if you feel I'm omitting anything from my short list of 'must haves' from Whispers of the Old Gods.

...So basically, I'm going to be playing Wild more than Standard. Because I'm a boss like that. Also, please just assume that I have everything else that matters besides this stuff. And anything from WoG, although I bought the prerelease pack. And I play to win, but I like rogue strategies as much as 'deck to beat' strategies.
