No because: it would leave blizzard with less money. And that's a bad thing because if there will not be enough money coming from this game shareholders/financial responsible @ blizzard will demand changes/higher roi. In the end they will stop Hearthstone altogether.
My alternative would be: give a new player all the cards from a random classic deck recipe. They will receive some dust/some legendaries and a deck to start their learning into Hearthstone.
This will allow the new player experience to be better while keeping the game profitable from everybody that want a quicker/more filled collection.
I believe this is a wayyyyy better idea. It would be cool if they could do it as a 'deck pack' so that it's added straight to their deck list or comes with a mini tutorial about putting it together.
The game is about the same as it's ever been for new players other than like right from day one, as long as you play standard. There's a reason why there's standard and wild, and that's so that new players can get into the game and not be overwhelmed. I don't even have all the classic set (playing on and off since 2014) but I just don't understand why making them free would be a good thing for blizzard. It would literally make it easier to be F2P as people would be able to grind more easily for expansions, rather than needing to fill up on classic cards and use all their dust on that. I can see why it may be nice for all those who don't have the cards or time to grind, but at the same time, I don't understand how it's any different than getting into the game 2 or 3 years ago, yet people have been doing.
Plus, on a more selfish note, part of what I enjoy about the game is getting and earning cards, choosing which are best/most fun to craft etc. Same goes for classic set - I've still never crafted Deathwing but I'm looking forward to the day I have some dust to spare.
I finally made the switch to standard this rotation because of the fact that I just can't with Jaina, Rexxaar and mana cheating anymore. It's a shame because I've been building my collection since 2014. I just want to use wild cards but not in a meta where games are won by highrolling.
I hate Brawliseum with a passion. Thinking of making a deck, and just conceding my run for the pack rather than bother play. I wish they'd have something other than "Just play the deck you usually play" for a tavern brawl.

Clears the board and then does this by saying "Let me fix this for you" hahaha.
Not great at doing stuff that you need to or when you need it to. Fun for replayability though

I like it too. I don't understand the bad rep it's getting.

I'd say Leeroy as he can be used in loads of decks so even if you get bored, you can put him in others.
But also just go with whichever you think you'll have most fun with

I support a big discount on old expansions, but not the classic set and not for free and not the whole thing.

I'm a little confused because I have a win a game with Shaman quest, won as Shaman in brawl, but it didn't count ?

I hate Mage anyway but honestly it's the worst.

None of the new legendaries beat these two beauts.
(I got lucky and AOB pulled Gromm)
