I voted no but feel there is an alternative.

No because: it would leave blizzard with less money. And that's a bad thing because if there will not be enough money coming from this game shareholders/financial responsible @ blizzard will demand changes/higher roi. In the end they will stop Hearthstone altogether.

My alternative would be: give a new player all the cards from a random classic deck recipe. They will receive some dust/some legendaries and a deck to start their learning into Hearthstone.

This will allow the new player experience to be better while keeping the game profitable from everybody that want a quicker/more filled collection.

I believe this is a wayyyyy better idea. It would be cool if they could do it as a 'deck pack' so that it's added straight to their deck list or comes with a mini tutorial about putting it together.

    Edit: Sorry for double post

I support a big discount on old expansions, but not the classic set and not for free and not the whole thing.

It's my favourite expansion in forever and the first time ever that I've switched to standard (no more Jaina thank you)

I hate Brawliseum with a passion. Thinking of making a deck, and just conceding my run for the pack rather than bother play. I wish they'd have something other than "Just play the deck you usually play" for a tavern brawl.

posted a message on Your most difficult / satisfying deck types?

This is a homebrew deck that I'm playing at the minute..

    ### 11s?
    # Class: Druid
    # Format: Wild
    # 1x (1) Claw
    # 2x (1) Lesser Jasper Spellstone
    # 2x (1) Naturalize
    # 2x (2) Novice Engineer
    # 1x (2) Savage Striker
    # 2x (2) Tortollan Forager
    # 2x (2) Wrath
    # 1x (3) Ferocious Howl
    # 1x (3) Prince Taldaram
    # 1x (4) Flobbidinous Floop
    # 2x (4) Swipe
    # 1x (4) Twig of the World Tree
    # 1x (5) Druid of the Claw
    # 1x (5) Feugen
    # 1x (5) Stalagg
    # 1x (6) Emperor Thaurissan
    # 1x (6) Nourish
    # 1x (6) Spreading Plague
    # 1x (6) Starfire
    # 1x (7) Malfurion the Pestilent
    # 1x (8) Da Undatakah
    # 1x (8) Gloop Sprayer
    # 1x (8) Splintergraft
    # 1x (10) N'Zoth, the Corruptor
    # To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone

My goal is to have played Feugen and Ferocious Howl, then before my last hit of my Twig of the World Tree play Stalagg into Prince Taldaram then refresh my mana with the weapon, and place Gloop Sprayer right between them.

It doesn't work often as fast decks steam roll me, but when it works it's fabulous.

If they manage to board clear, I can then N'Zoth for 1 Feugen and 4 Stalaggs, or play Da Undatakah then the next turn play Flobbidinous Floop.

In the screenshot I had to play Stalagg early to keep board control, but you get the picture.

The most over powered card in the game. Only a Mage would consider it balanced.

I disagree. Gul'Dan is much worse.

Jaina is actually a very slow card to use initially and when an aggressive deck or sometimes another control deck that has pressured you enough has you down low on health you can't always play her and expect to live. Many times you have to be somewhat ahead on board and/or life to safely use considering that when you first play her she is a 9 mana gain 5 armor and summon a 3 attack lifesteal minion without rush. Compare that to the high swing, high value, and high tempo play of Gul'Dan.

The hero power now, is the epitome of a control card/playstyle. The creation of water eles is not just controlled by the mage player, but also the opponent as well. By the time the opponent has played Jaina you already know how many and what types of board clears & single target removal the mage has access to when creating a water ele. You generally know when it looks like you should play around Blizzard, or FS, or Meteor. A good player should also know how they should order their trades to prevent/minimize 1 health being left on any minion. The hero power itself really isn't overpowered, it just punishes bad plays for the aforementioned risks. Also, against other control decks that hardly play many minions at a time it forces the mage to use their removals inefficiently just to create a single water ele and once they're out of removal they have pretty much lost.

Compare that to Gul'Dan's hero power which always has a consistent effect with no requirements.

The problem isn't just the availability to 3 attack lifesteal minions (Mages have more than enough varied spells to make minions have 1 health), it's the fact they are freeze minions too, which makes them an immediate remove target for classes with weapons, and the Rogue and Druid hero powers become absolutely useless. I'm not saying they can make a 3/6 minion every turn.. but don't forget the fact they can target their own 1 health minions, and even the best players can't prevent Shimmering Tempest into hero power.

Quartermaster with double hero power feels bad to lose to, I agree. Idk whether I'd class it as OP though
