Someone at Blizzard must have thought that at least one deck out there needed a 3/2 taunt on turn 1(coin) or turn 2. Look at the worst performing classes right now and see if this would help in some way. I don;t have any specific thoughts on the matter but feel like it might be a decent enough card for the right decks.
This could actually be the start of a new "Thief" type archetype for Rogue. I am hoping we see at least one more card with synergies to make this a reality.
Blizzard missed a great opportunity to showcase two other classes and old gods. An evolve or overload shaman / cthun warrior vs mechazod could have been super fun. Or a n'zoth rogue / yogg Mage? ... But NO ... Another repeat of a brawl that isn't worth repeated play 😞
This and the new warlock spell reveal make me think there will be a 0 cost neutral minion that gives your hero immunity for the turn. Which would make casino anything a reality.
This will be loads of fun if you ever get to play it. I feel like it certainly promotes building faster agro style decks knowing what awaits in the upcoming meta if you reach turn 10.
Blizzard for the love of this game can you please design some good fun cards without RNG shit? Can you think long term for once
Can you? ... Because it is their job to do just that. And quite honestly they are designing two or three sets ahead of what is being released. I am really getting sick of comments like yours.
I think not bad. It could certainly all go to your face. But on average if you coin this on turn 2 you will do 3 damage to self, 3 damage to an opponents minion, and 3 damage to opponent.

I wonder if something like this would just get wrecked before it could get rolling.

Call of the Wild summons the Animal Companions in order alphabetically: Huffer -> Leokk -> Misha. (source)
So that means Huffer hits the board at 4/2 then gets buffed to 5/2 when Leokk 2/4 hits the board and finally Misha hits the board as a 4/4 taunt.
That's still damn good for 8 mana. Looking forward to trying this out.
