I've been playing forever and can build any popular deck I like and if I did this and try-harded to rank I think I'd bore myself. I have neither time nor desire (or probably skill ;)) to get anywhere near legend.
It's bad enough playing against all the meta decks without adding to it.
It's a good job then that I take a perverse delight in chucking some unexpected cards together and trying to get some weird combos going. If I can imagine my opponent asking WTF? then my job is done win, lose or draw.
And, yes, my favourite streamer is Day9. When I am jaded he is the cure.
As a long-term England-born football fan (my local team is Gillingham, I have no shame), who currently lives in Australia and who is currently on holiday in the UK and quite likes to play Hearthstone a bit and didn't vote in the EU thing but feels vaguely embarrassed about the result I agree. I think.
Strange days indeed.
Maybe bitching about Shamen is safer ground? ;) Good on Iceland btw, I hope they go far.
I dusted Darkfisher in an instant (was the first legendary I opened).
Yogg, on the other hand, was an easy craft. As others have said yes, he's RNG but you can control this to a certain extent with the number of spells cast and keeping the game state in mind.
if you're ahead with a decent board then probably best not to drop him but if you need a probable board clear (including Yogg most likely), some secrets and maybe draw then there is nobody better.
If you're going to load up on spells then drop him expecting miracles good luck with that one. Hey nothing wrong with this either to be honest if you ain't try-harding.
Yogg And Load is surprising consistent and, most importantly for a game, fun.
Nice assessment. I've been treating wild like a new Casual mode.
Stomped on a secret paladin with my N'Zoth Paladin yesterday, very enjoyable to roll N'Zoth out to an instant concede.
For me anyway!
Patron Warrior also strong. I didn't play this back in the day but finding it good fun now.
Patron certainly is strong, Death's Bite is just OP. Some people are experimenting with a tempo patron warrior at high levels and it is surprisingly good with deaths bite in the deck if you like patron you should try this more aggressive version if you want something fun.
Warrior pretty strong all-round really.
I've been enjoying the tempo as well as the pirate versions in standard. I see there's a new hybrid posted on competitive he reddit so I'll add that to the list. I should really stick to one or two strong decks but I'm a sucker for variety.
I had a priest summon one of these yesterday, I had to look it up. Been playing for ages and never seen it. I was playing a weird Face Warrior deck so I didn't have many minions. Fun times, for me. :D

NA seems to be porked also.
Dagnabbit, I was only 18,345 wins from legend.

Pirate Rogue to confirm it's still rubbish (but I do love each game where I jag a win).
Then Pirate Warrior to confirm it's probably better followed by some C'Thun Rogue.
Then it's time for some Casino Mage Yogg-Saron shenanigans.
63 packs and 12,000 dust to burn, bring it on.

Nice deck, on a win streak right now in the low teens on ranked.
Going to try a few changes as suggested though:
Boom in for Chillmaw (don't have), Vigil in for Acolyte, Harrison in for Hungry (I really don't like that cards downside).
Beats the Reno Warrior I've been trying to make work.

MrPinguinHS,
I've finally registered with this site just to thank you for Cataclysm Shaman (and your write-up of it).
I was getting too try hardy last season and a few games of this (ranked, naturally) sorted me out.
A windfuried early Deathwing is a wonderful thing to behold (and a non-salty friend request too).
I pulled a golden one many moons back and converted it to Dr Boom.
It's good to have it back. We can sometimes forget to have fun.
One day I'll learn to quote properly. ;)
