posted a message on Blizzard Addresses Problems - Tess Greymane, Shudderwock, Quest Druid at HCT Seoul

I'm assuming they want to make a distinction between Transform/"Become a Copy" and Summon. You summon the Faceless Manipulator, but it Transforms itself into that other minion, no Summoning involved.

Also, it's not a nerf, but a change to how the cards operate behind the scenes. However it does affect how the card interacts with current strategies, so something needs to be done for fair tournament play.
Honestly I think they should just have a way to keep certain builds of the game available for the tournament scene. Changes to cards during tournaments has happened before and really should not affect them at all.

posted a message on which oppressive deck would you play?

RenoLock, Jade Druid and ye old Monkey Warrior Freeze Mage.

There were just too many Legendaries and Epics core to those decks that I wasn't willing to craft back then.

    Edit:
Just had the thought, Monkey Warrior wasn't at all oppressive, so I guess I'd change that to Freeze Mage.

posted a message on New Hunter Card Reveal: To My Side!

The 9 Mana card you're thinking of is Call of the Wild, and yeah, this conditional effect seems out of place for how much mana it costs, if it were 5 Mana, I guess, 4 Mana even and it still might be fine as the only type of Hunter that runs no minions is Yog Hunter or Malygos Hunter, and even still, other than the main dudes of the deck (Yog and Maly), there's supporting minions that are almost mandatory.

Once again, Blizzard makes a cool card for Hunter but makes it cost WAY too much, the exact same thing goes for Crushing Walls. I guess they're scared of making another CotW, but the chance of having a 6 Mana Leokk is just dumb.

posted a message on [KotFT] Midrange Hunter

3 Mana 3/2 weapon for early game minion removal is pretty premium for Hunter as they strive on taking early board control and pushing face damage to close out games, using your own health pool as a resource instead of trading your minions away is the best way to do it in Hunter as their removal mostly sucks ass.

You can put 1 or 2 Grievous Bites in as an alternative to kill off low health minions (such as in Pirate Warrior and in a mirror match) or Multi Shot for some slightly larger mid-game minions. But really Eaglehorn Bow just does the job best because it's 3 Mana and kills 2 minions over 2 turns essentially, plus it can also go face if you need it to.

posted a message on To Save Gold or Spend Gold?

Only once I start hearing about the next expansion from Blizzard do I stop buying packs or making new Arena decks.

I don't play very much, so I usually never get most of the cards from an expansion, with KotFT being the only exception because I pre-purchased the 50 pack bundle.

posted a message on Hearthstone Wild Packs Have Returned & Card Pack Changes Live!

It's just that I really enjoy the Adventures, and crafting all of the Legendaries you get for completing all the Wings takes loads of dust. It's just not economical for me to get all the Naxx and BRM cards I want purely through enchanting them with dust.

What I'd ideally like is if they were available through the Hearthstone store, so that you could buy them with Gold, then you'd only need 1400 Gold in total to have access to the Adventures at any time in the future. But obviously Blizzard is the type of company that wrings their customers' wallets dry, so that'll never happen.

posted a message on [BUG?]Legendary in first 10 packs of each sets.
    Quote from EriksVil >>
As I understood, it was supposed to be that you get legendary in first 10 packs of each set that you haven't opened packs before. But this is not the case as shown by a lot of examples here. Also for some it worked more than once on the same packs.
    Quote from evenpoint >>

We are all so „blind“ because the post said it only works if you have never opened a pack of the set before.

    Quote from mariote2000 >>
You are the blind one, they are giving guaranteed legendary in new sets from which you didn't open any packs (so it was going to start with frozen throne most likely), i have opened packs from classic, un'goro, mean streets, whispers... and still got a legendary within the first 10 packs

     Dear ghost driver,
Don't worry about us, we're just a bunch of blind people going the wrong way...
    Quote from Unilythe >>
Cute. The irony being that you are the one who apparently can't read, rather than we. Look at how dumb you are.
    Quote from azaphal >>
They said it wouldn't apply to people who have previously bought at least one pack of the set, which is the case of most of the people asking if there's a bug (myself included, I sure got my 4 legendaries in the first 10 packs, while I had previously bought/opened many of these packs).
I also originally thought that it was going to just be from KotFT and then on out, but obviously if you're getting a legendary in the first 10 packs of each set, it's been applied to all of them and not just new sets.
I guess I was too quick to interpret the use of the word 'bug', and assumed OP wasn't aware of the 1 Legendary in 10 Packs update whatsoever.

RIP another $64, didn't get the chance to buy the first wing of either Naxx or BRM, so now I have to fork out the whole lump some through the Blizzard Store, not a happy camper.

posted a message on [BUG?]Legendary in first 10 packs of each sets.

Seriously? how is it there's 14 pages of people asking if this is a bug, when Blizzard has said that they are intentionally giving players a legendary in the first 10 packs of each set.

I'd expect you all to be aware because there's a fkin post on the front page stating this also. How are you all so blind?

posted a message on Get rid of the pirate package in this week's quest rogue deck tavern brawe

Just as a point of reference, a Paladin was free to complete his quest on Turn 6 while I had only drawn 1 bouncer (used 2 mimic pods, and got 3 Novice Engineers down).

I had 0 pressure because the deck is so weak without the completed the quest, my opponent was able to use both of his Humilities on his 1/1 minions.

I'm sure the Brawl Deck is just the ladder deck with more inconsistency because there are less optimised cards in the deck (as others have already said), but a nuts draw for a Quest Rogue is pretty much a guaranteed win for them.
