I did all the dailies and there was nothing. If you won there is a prize in the gift tab and an email notification. Oddly enough there is not a single person claiming to win 30 packs on reddit, just a few people mentioning 3 packs. Fairly anticlimactic after 2 weeks of dailies.
It seems like a valid strategy to assume many will just use standard decks. As for actual wild decks here is a bit of my stats this month of what i played against. Leaving out certain classes for obvious reasons. I was able to maintain 65-70% win rate as burn mage, will probably just stick to that. Surely many will just play paladin and it's good against it.
16% hunter (giant and secret), priest (big), warlock (giant and cube), mage (burn and secret)
People talk about the grand prize as if they will win it. At most you can realistically expect to get 3 packs if you did the dailies everyday. That has the value of a fast food burger. Why not go do some yard work for someone and buy yourself a mammoth bundle.
The chart is accurate from what i have seen. You will see a ton of cubelock and tempo rogue frequency. The druid and paladin variants have been insanely strong, yet you barely see them. Perhaps some type of shift where people choose not to play aggro despite it being stronger. Highlander priest on the other hand... it's the most represented deck in HCT. Hard to argue with that. I would personally love to see murlocadin destroy everyone that chose not to play it. Might actually make the tournament entertaining.
There is a strong chance it will be best with aggro druid. In combination with cards like Crypt Lord and minion buffs. With early board fillers and Savage Roar we could be seeing turn 4-5 lethals again.
I went priest/paladin and it was an easy 12 wins. Most opponents i saw at higher wins pick priest as a primary with a lot of mage and rogue hero powers.
I live out in the middle of no where and was surprised to see my old college 17 miles away is hosting it along with charity donations. I would never go though, it would require going outside.

One of my best 12 win rewards. The deck was also fun to play. Loving wild arena!

If it does well maybe they will consider it as an option. I would prefer to play wild mode.

Imagine if you could ban 2 classes of your choice every season. The dream.

How are people confused by this? It nets you an extra free arena ticket because it retires your old arena run. Just play until you have 2 losses.

Now just make this casual mode and you open up many possibilities for new and nostalgic players.
