posted a message on Descendants of Eredar Adventure 45 cards

Presenting my 45 card adventure. Themed around the subraces of Eredar in Warcraft lore. I only played the warcraft games, not WoW, so I don't know up-to-date lore. Introducing 2 new mechanics: Edict and Mania.

Edict: Triggers once when you play a minion that costs less than this minion.

(simply triggers the effect after you PLAY a minion that costs more than the minion with the effect. Only triggers once.)

Mania: Activate effect at any point on your turn. Can only be triggered once.

(I'm not concerned with the interface with this one. You just trigger the effect at any point on your turn. Can be triggered on later turns, as long as it is your turn. It is focused trading the minions (or your face) for an effect.)

    Here are the cards!

Based on all of those 6 mana 2/3 legendary minions already in the game.

Not true. Injured Kvaldir was shown in the same format in the TGT trailer and it is just a rare.

Hey. Solid changes you have made. A presentation tip though, you can rearrange the order of images in an album on imgur. So in the class cards, you can order them in order of rarity and then mana cost. Neutrals are already sorted by rarity, so just do by mana cost. Just a tip.

In terms of Farseer Nobundo, he seems okay. The problem is that a better card already exists to do the same thing. Using a 2 mana spell is way better, especially because if you are overlocked early, you cant play this. Its a good body, but the effect is not relevant. Not because its bad, but because a Shaman Overload deck does not need more consistency, its power level is too low. Personally, I would remake this guy, just because I hate Overload. Blizzard overvalue while everybody in the community dislikes it. Shaman as a class in hearthstone right now is a jumble of RNG and niche value cards.

I don't know much about warcraft lore, even though I played lots of warcraft 3 lol, but I would rather this card be more about control than say Overload synergy. In your expansion, almost all classes have gotten great control tools. This one, Shaman got some nice ones in the form of 1. Flame Wrath 2. Tough Lord 3. Totem of the Winds. The other ones (Young Rider Draenei and Gnome Kite) are okay, but slower. I think with a strong control legendary (one that solidifies your late game with value or power like Archmage Antonidas or Tirion), the class could run a somewhat solid control deck. Alternatively, you could use existing cards as a base and make a combo deck, with say Bloodlust or something. I kind of wanna see a new Shaman archetype and I think with cards like the ones you have made, it could be possible.

Hey. I wish I could have seen the keyword Chain in action. Reminds me of Yu Gi Oh. I loved the trap chains. I have finalised the expansion. I will probably post it soon, but I wanted to get an outsiders say on it as it is first. http://crysislink.imgur.com

Hey. Just to start, as someone who just finished making an expansion with 123 collectible cards, well done. It is such an effort to make all of these cards. You even added flavour text as well. Simply awesome. Well lets get too it.

Peasant Waitress (Neutral Common): This card is very very strong. In arena, this card is worthy 3 cards in 1. I would sometimes pick this over shredder. In constructed it is a 1 card wonder still. It is stronger than Shielded Minibot in many ways. I dont mind if this card existed. I think it should have -1 stat somewhere. If you dont think so, you could up its rarity to epic. This lady is no peasant for sure.
Naga Guard (Neutral Common): I love this idea for this card. As you said, it really evens out a Druids mana curve, which they are known to be bad at doing. Simple, but good.
Joust Cheater (Neutral Common): Should say Minions in your deck cost (3) more.
Bogspike (Neutral Rare): I like this one. Using the Dragon/Joust synergy.
Fearful Spirit (Neutral Rare): I feel this card would be extremely frustrating to play against. I don think it should exist in the game.
Burning Zombie (Neutral Rare): This guy hurts my head. I agree it could not be made for those reasons. Its an interesting idea, but would be too strong in arena.
Worried Paladin (Neutral Epic): Haha the pessimists card. I know a friend that would love this because he is never lucky.
The Exodar (Neutral Epic): BGH V2?
Loot Stealer (Neutral Epic): This is a very good card with Archmage Antonidas. I like it.
Researcher Boss (Neutral Epic): I love cards like this. Lots of fun.
Skylar (Neutral Legendary): Handlock core for sure. Im not sure if this would tip Handlock over the edge or not.
M'uru (Neutral Legendary): This card really should not exist. It is boring to play with and against. Sure you have a niche card, but Blizzard would never want to add it. What if you are a new player? You can only play with innervate. Its not fun.
Magnus (Neutral Legendary): Such a conservative card. Would never see the light of day. Its only job is to slay dudes from paladin. Too niche i think. would change stat line so that it is better compared to BGH in a dragon meta.
Therazane (Neutral Legendary): As a midrange and control player, I like the idea. This would be a staple in Control decks.
Courage (Warrior): I love it. Great for those aggro decks. Im sure you understand that if this expansion was in the game, RIP aggro.
Knockout (Warrior): Warriors do not need another good clear.
Kur'Talos (Warrior): Sooo strong. I think the taunt should be a battlecry.
Slashdance (Warlock): Not sure why its called Slashdance. It is a weird card for weird people. But I like it :)
Power Chamber (Warlock): Too strong for Malylock for sure. Malylock is already very good deck. This would make it too strong.
Drain Mana (Warlock): I hate this. I dont like just saying it, but it is OP as hell. Two turns in 1. Also have the versatility to use early to deny a mana crystal for opponent. What if you have 2? 3 Turns??? Maybe balanced if you discard 3 cards? 4? I dont know. At least as it is, its OP.
Earth's Blessing (Shaman): Could you further explain how this works? Does it concede health per minion? If so you lose a lot of health.
The Last Brother (Shaman): This guy is crazy. I love it.
Sword Push (Rogue): You need to specify that you cant just take an enemy minion for yourself.
Grimstalker (Rogue): The Coldblood.... Combo Rogue incoming.
Colossal Dispel (Priest): Love it. Should cost +1 i think.
Fog of Righteousness (Priest): Too strong. You dont need a board to use this. +2 mana cost at least.
Arena Longsword (Paladin): I love it. Really good against handlock.
Focusing Magic (Paladin): Secret Pally on par best deck right now. They cant have this tool.
Divine Intervention (Paladin): Wow. I like the idea of increasing health for your hero. I think you should have a smaller amount with a lower cost. You do know you can run 2 of these right? 100+ health with 2 cards. Crazy.
Justicar Conqueror (Paladin): Seriously. You hate aggro. No aggro decks would exist in this patch. 1 card counter.
Novice Ogre Magi (Mage): I like this guy. So spicy.
Tomb of ice (Mage): RIP weapon users.
Resummoning Magic (Mage): Love this. Probably some crazy stuff you can do with this.
Hibernate (Hunter): Too niche. Only working with 1 other card is really boring.
Silencing Shot (Hunter): I love this one. Probably one of my favourite in this expansion. very fun.
Explosive Shuriken (Hunter): Casually deal 4 damage to all enemies on 5 mana. Wow. very very strong. If Hunter Control ever had a chance, it would be on the back of this imba card.
Hurricane (Druid): I like this one. Im not sure of its power level though.
Inside the Swamp (Druid): This is a really lame card to play against. Ruins your fun. It is actually OP i think. Basically buys to 2 turns.
Nordrassil Power (Druid): Way too strong. Who cares if you discard 5-10 cards if you draw 8? Its way too good. It is RNG but you will on average draw like 4+ cards. So good.
Star Lynx (Druid): Do you mean gain Health? If so, it is a very strong card.
Animal Soul (Druid): You mean on the board? Or your cards? This would be a lame counter to murlocs or pirates if it affects enemies.

Overall, a very interesting expansion. I wish you had made a new keyword. I think you are very good at making cards, so I would have liked to have seen what you could come up with. I would love to see what you think of some of the cards I have made in my expansion. When I have finished finalizing it, I will link it if you would like.
