I think this card may actually be one of the strongest cards in the set. A 1/3 on turn 1 is something Aggro Druid and Hunter decks would love to run but have not had the means to do so. Combos extremely well with Crackling Razormaw in Hunter, which previously had to rely on drawing one of its only 1 drops in the deck, Alleycat. That opener is the current staple of Hunter. In the same instance, Aggro druid have Enchanted Raven on turn one that they really wanna buff with Mark of Y'Shaarj. This card really helps the consistency of those decks with getting the ideal curve on the most important turns.

So this card will be run next year when the standard rotation goes through. It will replace Golakka Crawler when Patches the Pirate finally rotates out. It will probably see play mostly in Hunter but armor gain is always useful for some of the other classes that dont have access to healing normally.

This is a very good card i believe. A problem hunter has is that it does not have easy access to a 'ping' unless they have just traded into your deathrattle minions. You dont want to have to use Unleash the Hounds just to summon 1 doge and hit a hydra once. This card fills a bit of a gap in the playstyle of hunter but i fear hunter will still be stuck in the same old midrange archetype till the end of time so this may only see 1-of experimentation for now. Worthy note if you are running the spell hunter deck, this combos with Hunter's Mark very well. Would also be a staple in a (prepare for it) control hunter deck.

I would replace arcane shot with flanking strike. I think flanking strike is an excellent card in any midrange/tempo deck because it is well bundled. I compare it to imp-losion as it takes the average result and make them into a single body 3/3 with the beast tag. That card saw a lot of play in a class that has many efficient removal spells. So I think Flanking Strike in Hunter will be an absolute must use.

I think you need to run Flanking Strike in that deck.

The staple of a recruit deck which includes Oaken Summons and Grizzled Guardian. However, the deck does not have enough 'unfairness' too it. Summoning an extra 3/5 taunt or getting a bit of armor with a minion does not compare to the huge swing turns of Big Druid or the late game value of Jade Druid. Stuck in limbo between these huge power level decks leaves this card in the dust until we are blessed with next years rotation.

This card will not be played. The 3 mana slot for hunter is more crowded than a football stadium. It is not a big enough threat by itself and hunter does not have any useful buffs outside of the dream Houndmaster combo. It is useless on the defensive because you have to instigate the attack. Wont see play in constructed. If it had a 2 mana variant with less stats it would be great.

The power level or cards has been on the creep as of late. I remember running Spider Tank because it was a 3 mana 3/4 and a mech and that was good enough. 2 mana used to be the powerhouse of decks and that has been shifting towards 3 mana in my opinion. This however has a 'downside' for having 1 extra stat. Pirate Warrior is a shadow of its past self (thank god) but they would not run this card. Even without the card text, you would not run a 3 mana 4/4 most of the time. This is however an okay card in arena so sure.

This is an efficiently bundled card. It is best compared with Imp-losion. That cards average outcome was considered good and was run in a class with many many good clearance cards. The body is also a beast so it has more synergy with existing midrange decks. Overall, a great card that is NOT 3 mana for Hunter that will see play in multiple hunter decks. All we need now is for those decks to not be tier 3.
