That's because the images for the upgraded versions weren't shown. Hearthpwn is just using the same image as the lesser spellstone until the upgraded versions are shown.

nurgling13 posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition #4.05 [DISCUSSION]Posted in: Fan CreationsOkay, here is a OTK:
While Lord Jaraxxus is in your hand, play Voidcaller, then Void Terror (or anything that will kill Voidcaller, like Shadow Bolt). This will put your Jaraxxus onto the board (to guarantee the combo, you can't have any other demons in your hand). Play Reckless Demonologist to give Jaraxxus to your opponent and replace their hero with Jaraxxus. Then play Sacrificial Pact to kill them.
The card has serious problems, but so does this week's theme.

ElephantsGuideMe posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition #4.04 [FINAL POLL]Posted in: Fan CreationsThis is my first time entering the card design competition, even though I have been following it for quite a long time. I have to say, the entries this time are really interesting all-around.
But, I have a question regarding how finalists are chosen, which really confused me. My entry received about 30 upvotes on the submission topic thread. Additionally, I noticed some other really cool entries that also received between 20 and 40 upvotes. However, these entries and mine didn't make it into the finals despite them having more upvotes than, say, Sha of Change (which is a really cool idea btw). I was pretty sure that my entry was viable because it was dependent on the last card played in the game. (Mimic: 0 mana rogue spell: This card is always a copy of the last card played this game. It costs (1) more) I was really excited to see how much the community seemed to like my idea with all of the upvotes it received. I was really proud of it, but I got really confused when it didn't make it onto the final poll.
I'm not angry, I'm just confused as to how the finalists are actually chosen if they aren't dependent on upvotes in the submission topic. Anyway, my vote goes to Mass Resurrection. Make priest great again, and congratulations to all the finalists!

Shadow_Dcord posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition #4.04 [FINAL POLL]Posted in: Fan CreationsQuote from Shadow_Dcord >>Cat out of the bag, Thief Trainee and Deadwind Dealer get my vote. I am confused why Dwarf Priest is legendary though, what's so legendary about a Dwarven Priest?
I made the card, was happy wih cost / stats / effect but I figured it would have been t0o good in some cases if you had 2 available:Turn 10 - forbidden ritual, you go auchenai, circle, 2 dwarves and you are left with 2 15/15 taunts (+ a 3/1 auchenai).Ok, you'll never get to turn 10 as a priest these days, but still..I can understand that reasoning, but you could have named it something other than Dwarf Priest which is pretty generic. Nice card none the less. -

Flavor Text: While popular with the other carnies, Sayge isn't too fond of Whack-a-Gnoll.
Sayge is an above average intelligence Gnoll residing on Darkmoon Island with the other carnies. He is a clairovoyant, or in other words he can tell the future. Silas Darmoon, the leader of the faire, highly values him as one of the best fortune tellers he has ever seen.
I chose Sayge as my card for this competition, because I felt he was an interesting character who had plenty of uniqueness and personality that could be depicted well thematically. His ability to tell the future allowed me to think outside of the box on how best to show it as a Hearthstone card. I felt like telling the future would also give someone the ability to shape their fate. As such I chose to create an effect where you could control what card you drew.
I balanced his stats the way I did mainly because I wanted to keep a combo with him and Fandral out of the question in a single turn. I reduced his Attack by 1 from normal stat line, because I felt like his effect could be quite strong and needed to be balanced in that way.
Thank you for checking out my submission and taking the time to read on. If you liked my custom card creation then your vote would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
Good luck to all those participating in the competition!

I wonder if spells that give a minion Deathrattle (Ancestral Spirit, Soul of the Forest, Explorer's Hat) will cause a non Deathrattle minion to count as a Deathrattle minion for the purpose of N'zoth?
