posted a message on Tyrande Now Available In Southeast Asia By Buying 40 Packs

while i dont agree with Tyrande being attached to 40 packs, i do understand that outside of directly selling tyrande its very difficult to align terms when it comes to the internet sharing between the U.S and certain parts of Asia. this isnt the first time they have done something like this... sucks

they just need to rework overall power levels for cheap cards imo. if you look at it from a power to cost ratio, 1-3 cost cards are the most powerful in the game. as long as there is the ability to have lethal by turn 4 or 5 the meta will always be focused around aggro, whether you're playing it or targeting it

posted a message on Max McCall on Class Design Philosophy and Deckbuilding Themes

I think the main problem they should focus on is the ealry game. hearthstone matches are too strongly dictated by turns 1-3. one drops should RARELY have stat values that go past a total of 4 (i.e. 1/3 , 3/2 etc). think about them compared to later game cards: the difference between an 8 drop having 7 health/attack vs 10 health it isnt that big of a difference considering the removal available, but the difference a 1 drop having 3 health vs 2  or  3 attack vs 1 is HUGE. the game shouldnt be so heavily decided by the cheapest of cards

posted a message on Mike Donais: No Ladder Changes in the Next Set, Current Meta, Small-Time Buccaneer

the real question is why do the people that always complain about aggro never tech against it?? yea aggro is annoying but there are plenty of ways to shut them down...but sadly most low tier player think that any deck they play should be favored against everything

I would like to know if they plan on making the whole tribe/type mechanic more of a factor. aside from warlock and hunter there isnt really much types out there. even those classes type support is primarily in the core set

posted a message on Ben Brode: The New Player Experience Needs Work

i like how Ben said "perceived as good" because alot of people dont realize that ladder isnt something every player is supposed to dominate. im not saying its perfect, but its designed to see how you compare against other players. if someone cant pass a certain rank (because they lose more than they win) then they should have to grind and get better. Lastly, card collection does play a big role in any card game but skill plays an equal if not bigger one. people will say things like "this game is pay to win" when there are tons of people who hit legend on free to play accounts and people who have every card in golden but cant pass rank 15
