Thats because patches is used wayyyy more now than he was. Im not saying the pirate warrior era was good, it was fuckng trash, but now patches is EVERYWHERE! Then it was only warrior that really used patches, now every class runs patches.  Blizz probably didnt nerf it then because they knew more defensive cards were coming into play that stomp warrior. I dont know your rank, but aggro presence has has significantly decreased from 10 down since KOFT. Now its mostly tempo and control/combo decks now

Blizz has already said that they need more than a card just being really good before they nerf it. Take Corridor creeper for example, there are only two decks in the meta that dont run it AND its really good

As someone who participates in every PTR that any of the games i play that have one i can tell you that the majority of the player base never uses them. Can you imagine telling the Hearthstone community that they have to develop ANOTHER card collection?? that wont go over well. And if you decided to maybe make all cards playable on the PTR then why would any player with an incomplete collection ever play live?? PTR isnt an easy thing to manage, thats why alot of games dont have them and the ones that do they arent very good

This actually motivates me to start the legend grind early! i usually end a season around rank 3 and restart my grind the last few weeks of the month, and its so annoying to have to go from rank 17-3 and then start my real progression

People always joke about HS not requiring any skill at all, yet those who are top legend always get to top legend, while people who cant even break rank 5 always get stopped there, and the people who cant break 10 blame their cards, so on and so on. Im not saying HS is chess, but nobody ever stops and considers that they might not be a strong player...There are tons of videos of players hitting legend with brand new f2p accounts, or hitting legend with meme decks.  sometimes its as simple as: bad players yield bad results, good players yield good results.

Im glad none of these weapons seem meta mandatory. I already took some big hits this year with quests and deathknights so its nice to not feel obligated to have any legendaries from this set to be competitive

Vent, you do realize he is not talking about buying every card in the set right... I agree with him. If you look at each card from a viable/competitive standpoint most of the legendaries dont seem that impactful, same for the epics, meaning with about 5k dust he can get all of the cards he wants initially

Not everyone, but why are so many Blizzard fans................spoiled?  I guess that's the right word.  I was originally a console gamer and if there were glitches or bots, etc., good luck trying to get the dev to respond, let alone fix it.  Blizzard actually has people in their forums for issues, they listen to the community, and constantly patch games.  The whole reason I stopped caring about console gaming and switched to PC, is because of Blizzard.  I'm not trying to scold anyone, just saying let's be grateful we have such an amazing developer who actually cares about post-sale, and stop slamming them every time they make a mistake.  They're human too.

Totally agree, i never cared for that packs myself and I am astounded about all these comments! :)

Seems everybody just play brawls for free pack.. so sad. I mean yes i often just play it to get that packs also, though sometimes i do all my quests in Brawl. but most importantly i don't whine when 1 brawl is catered for more skilled players with insane rewards. What I do disagree is that 1000 gold fee, kinda aimed at streamers pro players and other 24/7 HS players who would have entered anyways. Should be cheaper or free still so the small guys can try playing against big boys for fun, and of course super rewards if they prove their mettle :)

And that comment there by someone that Brawls ain't fun... wtf?? It's obvious he has no idea what fun is and only reason he plays is some kind of gain, like free pack.

I'm defo skipping this weeks brawl mainly because 1000g fee, and as a casual player with expansion on horizon I'll need that gold :)

Pronunciation depends on your mother tongue. In Russian Y'shaarj translated like [Eesharadj], in hieroglyphic languages it is translated and spelled absolutely in another way. Pronunciation mainly depends not on rules of grammar and spelling, but mostly on tongue traditions of person's home region. No reason to be mean, I can bet that inhabitants of NY and LA would pronounce it differently, as well as London and Liverpool, for example.

If developers have any narrow clarification about spelling, they should implement it in every localization version. Unless it's done, i believe anyone can spell it like more used to.
