25% of the people complaining do so because they hate Big Priest.  That's understandable, but this group is too stupid to tell Big Priest and Razakus Priest apart.

70% complain because they always need something to complain about.

5% complain because they hate Anduin's emotes.

Hahahhaa.. "Wow.." - let the tilt flow through you mwaahahaa

We all can say that Big Priests definetely relies on draws, not skills right?

They both do, but big (aka greed) priest is just mind-numbingly retarded.

Priest is my favourite class to play, but my least favourite class to play against. Have to admit, if priest does become top dog - HS will be unbearable for a lot of people..

posted a message on The Problem With the Base Set and Blizzard's Meta Philosophy

This is what I think too, the basic and classic cards are effectively the backbone of the game - I think any alterations to cards should involve the prioritisation of retaining these sets over newer cards. This is logical to me as newer sets come and go, the classic and basic cards (should) remain indefinitely.

If the plan is to rotate out all of these cards at some point, what about newer players? I'm struggling to see why Blizzard thinks these kinds of changes are actually good for the game in the long term - especially if they're having trouble attracting, and retaining, newer players.

I've had quite a few friends come to HS, play it briefly, realise they'd have to invest a ridiculous amount of time or money to be able to even play the game, then they leave and never come back. Anecdotal evidence, but I'm absolutely sure this is the case for the majority of people coming to the game nowadays.

    Quote from Thyndd >>

Now warrior has the worst 3 mana weapon in the game and innervate equals a rogue's coin. They are completely destroying class identities just because some current archetypes are too strong (jade druid and pirate warrior). Let me remind you that these changes are permanent, we are not getting back the old cards even when these OP archetypes rotate out.

    Worst idea ever, seriously.

This is precisely the point - they are altering CLASSIC (dictionary definition - timeless, always relevant) and basic cards, to mould around cards that are effectively just passing through.

It's actually retarded when you think about it.
I can understand with some cards requiring adjustments, especially if they've consistently been problematic over a series of expansions - but that hasn't been the case with some of these cards. I'm saying this as someone who thinks druid is the most boring class ever, by the way, followed by warrior.. I still think it's a silly way to "fix" issues. It shows laziness on behalf of the developers to be honest.

posted a message on The problem with Mage's design

Well according to the recent announcement freeze mage will soon be no more in standard, in any format, anyway - they're targeting ice block to be hall of famed.

I wonder if there will be any classic cards in standard before long.

Yeah, I wasn't surprised they didn't touch jade cards - but I am surprised they didn't touch UI.. that card is the most broken thing ever.

I'm also genuinely pissed off that they're ONLY changing classic/basic cards - and no not just for dust refund reasons, but because these cards have been in the game since the very beginning.. they have had the opportunity to test interactions before releasing new sets - which they clearly don't fucking do. So, instead of doing the logical thing and altering the newer (nb: broken as all fuck) cards, they decide to nerf, into oblivion, the older cards or cycle them out of standard completely - something I recall them saying they would like to avoid doing back when they introduced standard.

I actually mentioned my point about classic/basic cards in Kibler's stream - he said I was talking bullshit, so I'm going to guess he has some vested interest there too?  (this is as an aside; people talk a lot of shit about Kripp, but at least the guy has brains.)

inb4 nerf dragonfire potion and shadow reaper anduin etc. because priest will be the top class and hearthstone players are never happy

I think people are whining, and don't want priest to be good, because priest games are generally long and require thought - can't have that interfere with their steamroll to legend with brainless cancer decks, can we? /kappa

In Hearthstone lingo deck that requires skill just means a greedy net deck no cheaper than 11000 dust with a lot of powerful Legendaries, that no budget deck has a substitute for.

No. It's just priest has ALWAYS been the most expensive class if it's to be viable on ladder. ALWAYS.
Nothing to do with net decking or p2w bullshit.

posted a message on Love playing Priest, but hate playing against it

Priest has always been my main class - and I have to say the sudden burst in tryhardery taking place with these flavour-of-the-moment priest decks is kind of irritating.
Obviously, my reason for hating it is different to yours I guess.

I'm sure priest will drop down to being not as easy to win with again (tier2+) and those people will go back to playing the newest path of least resistance deck(s).

I see there are two kinds of people:

    >Rogue & Priest on the top
    >Rogue & Priest at the bottom

I may be biased but, I think the former are probably better players. People who hate rogue are generally awful HS players, of course I may be wrong ( I doubt it) - but rogue is generally the most difficult class to master.
Priest requires patience to play well, and if you look at the meta.. even previous ones, you'll see exactly what the majority prefer - face-roll EZ decks that enable you to win even after misplaying a billion times.

Even the people saying they like the current priest decks available, I remember when priest was bottom of the rung - bet they didn't play it then. Typical weathervane behaviour - zero thought and zero skill.

posted a message on Most fun to least fun classes

    1. Priest

    2. Mage

    3. Rogue

    4. Warlock

    5. Paladin

    6. Hunter

    7. Shaman

    8. Warrior

    9. Druid

6 and 7 are joint for me - I actually like hunter and shaman though.. hunter a bit more as it is good for speed climbing at the end of the month on my f2p account.

Druid is.. well, to be honest, I've always found it to be the most boring class in HS. I really love playing druid in WOW but in HS it's sh*t.

Exactly.. I never come here to complain but yeah I spend 300-400$ per expac and while I love my collection, it should definitely be enough for at least 2 full golden deck

... did you say PER expansion?! Bro, really? I'm sorry but thats absurd. I'd highly advise spending your money on something worthwhile. You can easily save Gold for 3 months, buy one preorder for $50 and still have enough to build any deck you want. $400 is just ridiculous.
Maybe he likes variety, or the collecting aspect of the game?

Not everyone wants to spend 4 months playing the same thing over and over, it's boring ffs.

posted a message on Druid is virtually unbeatable and this needs to be changed fast
    Quote from _Bull3t_ >>

Yes Gaaras stuff is nice. But he mentioned it with the word on the top: evolution of the minions/powerlevels.

Innervate a 3/3 or 4/4 vanilla minion isn't that op I guess. But the powerlevel alone from Fledgling is nuts. It generates value per turn and messes up your opponents plan. I mean, opponents need to mulligan to be able to stop a Fledgling. Fledgling is far more powerful than just 3 mana on other cards. Druid being able to play it earlier or to buff it just makes it more powerful. But the chain doesnt start with Innervate, it is Fledgling - and the many tools Druid has now.

I think Behemoth is also a difficult minion. It can decide if Druid can steamroll away with Jades while soaking up tons of damage. Often times you cant even get pass the 3/6 taunt. And when you do, Primordial Drake will crush the damaged minions left. Or the next 1-2 jades start to get out of reach, and so on. You know the list of outcomes.

I don't see particularly Innervate as the problem tbh. But it makes stronger cards way too strong.

I play fledgling in my hunter deck and even without the mana ramp it's seriously overpowered.
If you have a taunt in the way, or your opponent can't get minions to stick on the board or remove it (stealth and non-targetable buff is a killer), it's basically gg.
