1. played mechs comp and rolled for like 30 times looking for a magnetic (there was only a half mech player in the lobby) and didn't find a single one (i had the tavern 6 mech)
2. went to tavern 6 really fast to find a defining tavern 6 unit and rolled for 20 times and saw only 1 tavern 6 unit
3. played nagas with the naga hero (1 mana hero power; discover a naga) and stayed on tavern 5), discovered like 7 times (5 times hero power and twice the spell discover most common unit on board) never discovered higher than tavern 2 unit.
statistics does not explain it
my guess: they are pushing me to spend money cuz ive played alot
reason: im a long time standard player and i know they manipulate rng in standard for multiple reasons

Step by step. Since most of the cards in the deck are battlecry it's obvious that Brewmaster has plenty of situations to shine. Vs control decks playing Alexandros twice is painful and leads to easy victory.
Starfish. It's a good card vs Paladins, standard Druids, mech Rouges and Shamans. So it's a keeper vs aggro.
Yogg. It's way better than "Sylvanas, the Accused" and sometimes can be used to clean the table in the late game. So the variability of this card is great.
School Teacher. You basically get 2 corps, 2 creatures and one spell (0-3 mana) that you can choose based on the situation. Isn't it great? Forged gnome? First you have to spend 2 mana to forge it in the early game, then you get 3/4 minion and a spell that cost 3 less, overall for 6 mana. (2 corps, 2 creatures 4/4 and 1/1, 1 free spell for 0-3 mana) for 5 mana VS (3/4 minion and a spell that costs 3 less) for 6 mana losing the early game dominance? I think Teacher is amazing.
Why ashyxiate + oblitirate and not 2 ashyxiate? Oblitirate cost 1 mana less which gives you flexibility sometimes for instance to play Dirty Rat + oblitirate on 4th turn. Sometimes vs Warlocks you won't kill Sargeras with ashyxiate if player clones it or has other minion with 6+ attack.
Nerubian Viziers. They give you flexibility in the game. Vs Dark Priests, Paladins, Hunters to kill early threat or to find ashyxiate or oblitirate vs control decks depending on the opponent's class. It is great overall.
Viper. You can always swap it if it is not needed but I basically use it in every second game. Vs Control Priests, Druids, BDK, Hunters, Paladins with windfury etc.
I used to have Snapdragon in my deck previously and it was quite good. If i finally decide to trade any card in my deck, I would probably trade it for Snapdragon!

Patchwerk. Again, depends vs which class are you playing. 100% keeper in the starting hand vs Warlock and Warrior. Don't keep it vs aggro decks. I usually use it if I can kill a big threat on the table with 100% confidence or after opponent plays Astalor.

Dude you stole my Brewmaster BBB DK idea ))) I was too lazy to add it here though, gj! Ok so what was different in my deck, which brought me to Diamond 10 without any hardcoring, just casually playing.
Brewmasters - yes great idea, DK it seems has many good targets to brewmaster them up. But i had 2 brews in deck, and starfish in ETC. Just too many situations for brewmasters, and too less for starfish.
Yogg, why? I deleted Yogg, shortly after having him. Well we have too few spells, and too much minions. Yogg is often just dead card in hand. Until very deep late game.
Zola awesome too! 1 more bounce together with brewmasters! Yep, had her too, just too strong.
School teachers, no. I deleted them after while, forever. Because we now have 4 mana forge discover any spell and cheat 3 mana. Its not even close compare to discover 3-mana spell with almost same manacheat. Also forge card seems needed in our deck, because well you now just have 2 forge cards, which makes Ignis too often not active.
1 ashyxiate + 1 oblitarate, dunno. I played with 3mana weapons because we have too much synergies with them from healings. But hmm maybe weapon is a delete too because taking too much face damage. Then we probably need 2 asphexiates.
I also played two 1mana discover weapon cards. Well just instead of 1 drop. And it seems to be quite awesome both in early and late game.
Deleting body baggers from deck seems nice. BBB DK never needed 1drops, gj! I will delete them too.
Also i deleted Nerubian Viziers because well it seems not good in deck, where very few cheap undeads. In shadow priest, yes, but what have we, nothing, so no mana cheat, or in other cases hero power + vizier = no mana cheat, so...
Yeah, as far as i remember, that was all i had in deck different and similar to yours.
PS. Oh, you have Viper i see... Dunno, seems not too meta-ish atm, because we just overheal everything. I would better think about card draw instead, which happened too often to be a problem for me. I often added 1 Famished Fool, but always somehow ended deleting it from the deck, so dunno.

Dude, its a hard pass when you under pressure. Like vs aggro or combo shit. Yes ofc i agree and you are totally right. For those situations. But in control matchups which is very often, its most likely win. Because you get too much value stats + discovers. Its even winwin you can say. Or even gigawin o.O

Thanks <3 I agree about 1 gorloc instead of two, because it often just stuck in hand... 2 axes is interesting, i should try it more often maybe. Also thinking about replacing Finley, because two mana for hero power is too much it seems...
