I think the drawback can be much more severe than people tend to think. Not only does your opponent get a one drop that will usually have 2 attack and some extra deathrattle effect, but he will get to attack with it first. Even though you get +1/+1 compared to what you can expect for a 4 drop, your opponent will get +2/+1 most of the time, meaning you are generally behind by one statpoint compared to just playing a Yeti/Tallstrider.

thepoxbox posted a message on nerf Big Game Hunter / BGHPosted in: Card DiscussionIt might be fun for some people to play those big creatures but it's no fun at all to fight against them with limited resources.
Then play your own big creatures...???
Bgh is just a dumb card that shouldn't exist.
I agree with everything in the article posted. In fact, I've been saying these exact things about BGH ( and mctech ) for almost a year.
Those cards are trash. -

Well unless you're a "professíonal" at the game, the standards set are different for you, so of course you can have a go at them!
You don't see fans in any other sports holding their opinions back just because they don't play in a big stadium and make several millions a year, so why should you? Most sports journalists never played their respective game professionally, but they still bring their opinions of players to the table, same goes for art critics.
Just because you aren't good at something, doesn't mean you necessarily can't recognize the capabilities of others within that field.

user-19045767 posted a message on Most overrated streamers, skill-wise.Posted in: Players and Teams DiscussionSo there are a lot of streamers out there who aren't half as good as they believe to be. Both on ladder and tournaments.
Specifically referring to Forsen, MaSsan and Amaz.
Before you enter your fanboy rage mode, let me point out that we're talking about skill. Not their ability to deliver entertainment.
Yeah I'd watch Forsen and Amaz over Kolento, Strifecro or Trump(players that bring a lot of accurate constructive commentary and their own viable decks) because most of the time I'm seeking a good laugh rather than in depth development of my knowledge of the game.
That being said, Forsen is dreadful at the game, he doesn't make his own decks, at least not successful ones, since he's not a ''tryhard''. Most of the times he's drunk or high on something, hence he has no idea what he's doing. Simply a pro hearthstone player you shouldn't look up to if you wanna become better at the game.
Amaz literally can't do math, leading to a lot of miscalculated plays. Lately he's been going on a little streak of playing a different deck every day quite inconsistently.
MaSsan just missplays a lot in general and acts awkwardly, uncomfortable to watch.
What are your picks?

yes, you are unlucky, deal with it.

what the fuck does it has to do with anything? every class can get legendary. There are even people who got to legendary with basic decks, that represents nothing. Get your facts right. Paladin is bad in comparison to other strong classes.

nope bro, Paladin is not as strong as you think it is, priest is actually strong if played right and shaman I agree that is not very good atm. Rogue is a lot stronger than Paladin, Druid is a lot stronger than Paladin, Mage is a lot stronger than Paladin and maybe Hunter too (not sure). Midrange Paladin does meh against everything. I have more than 700 games with him, I know that class and I know it isn't strong.

nerf to Tirion? are you crazy? the only thing Paladin needs is help right now.

I never liked playing against Druid because of that combo, it is just so frustrating when you are ahead and got control of the game, then your enemy just wins next turn because of two cards. I know it can be played around, as I am very experienced in doing so, but after a certain match today, I'm just giving up, look at this:
I was very careful and tried to stay above 22 health at all times so I couldn't die to double combo, I guess that isn't enough.

I'm really not complaining about that being OP, it is just ANTI-FUN as hell. He needed 5 cards to do this, the problem is that he got it. I spend the whole match trying to make the best plays and control the match, and stay above double combo's range, so I would just lose to a innervate + double combo ANTI-FUN shit? I mean, there is not way someone couldn't get frustrated.
