It's fun to look back at the GvG release and compare to this one, where people said Dr. Boom is 'garbage' and Piloted Shredder is 'below average' and both won't ever be seen on competitive play.
Guys, stop with the "It's a bad kill command" nonsense, it's not a removal card, it's a buff card. However if you find yourself behind in the game and need an emergency removal, it has the flexibility to be used that way, but with a drawback. It's a great card.

A good balance would be to have the Warrior lose armor based on the attack of the minion targeted by Shield Slam.
For example: you Shield Slam a Chillwind Yeti, you lose 4 armor.

Yeah, you can see her humanoid form in the Ysera Awakens artwork.

If it read: "Whenever you summon a beast, summon another random beast." it would be totally broken.
Off the top of my head you seem to get an average 3/3 stats for the battlecry, which is awesome IMO.
Sure there's variance and RNG can screw you, but so can anything in this game.

If Blizzard releases too many powerful cards, people complain of power creep to sell packs.
If Blizzard releases average cards and a few powerful ones, people complain that the expansion is "trash".
Holy shit, you people want every card to be the new Dr. Boom.

Well, if you can abuse the other hero power mechanics along this one, it's quite nice.

My idea was to create a pseudo-taunt minion:
Warmaul Sentinel [Rare]
5 mana, 4/6.
"All enemy characters have a 50% chance to attack this minion."

Make him 4/9 with charge and he'll actually be playable.

I would like to suggest Molten Giants, because you can synergize them with Pit Lords so you won't have to rely on voidcaller's RNG every time.
And maybe replace Clerics with Void Terrors, to activate eggs/voidcaller and/or get value from Power Overwhelming.
Sylvannas may also fit in there, to combo with shadowflame/void terror/power overwhelming.

A 1/1 with charge that dies at the end of the turn would be a nice hero power, could be a spectral monk or something.

Warrior had 25 health and 27 armor and I was down to 16:
I played very slowly into fatigue and he ran out of damage and eventually conceded:

1 in 9. RNG: "I don't care."

I think it's too situational to be a thing. But it's very amusing when you can pull it off.
Btw, you could've hexed and killed the frog, then sac'd your Sylv to get the minions and have a clear board :D

Ghoul seems to synergize better with the rest of your deck. (Acolyte, Execute, Armorsmith, Grommash)
