You know players are new when they call this meta "the best one ever". There has never been a meta with so few viable decks and such polarized matchups. Not to mention the overflow of games decided by "Discover"-RNG.
Honestly it would be a great idea to do more of these events, not necessarily for the free dust but so that players (f2p) in particular can get a chance to test some cards they otherwise never would afford to craft (I mean there are more important epics than Fight Promoter with a much higher crafting priority).
Yea kinda. MSoG was in that sense a very weak expansion already, not even judging by it's poor card designs but it relied heavily on previous expansions/adventures.
This is hearthstone, not chess. If someone is roping it's because they are probably doing something else. You play what you can on curve and end the turn, et cetera ad infinitum until someone wins.
I hate how dull this game has become, same 4 boring decks over and over. Oh a quest rogue, look here a murloc paladin, oh and a quest warrior, wait what's this, an aggro druid? wow. Worst thing is, all these decks always run 95% identical lists. It feels like you are playing against the same 4 people over and over. Any decks that tries to be innovative gets completely shut down by these Tier-1 decks due to polarization of the games card design and the only real place you will ever find innovative decks are at legend rank because laddering with sub-tier 1 decks is neigh impossible.
Bring back the variation we had back in 2015, we had everything from classic leper gnome aggro to ultra grindy mages and priest decks. It was a perfect world and was honestly one of the most F2P friendly times we've ever had (Mechs were such a great tribe for this).
Nay. It brings a tear to my eye seeing one of the staple old school wallet warrior legendaries fade into oblivion (as with most neutral legendaries because blizzard keeps making weak legendaries and overly powerful epics and rares).
Losing Finley and other classes gaining new taunts and faster options surely weakened pirate warrior, it can still BrokeBack games by turn 5, but it's definitely more of an uncommon occurrence.
Since Yu-Gi-Oh and MTG are TCG's, they have value beyond the pure gameplay, there is a huge fanbase who just love to collect the cards, build non-meta decks and such.
Yu-Gi-Oh meta gameplay right now is literally just two opponents playing a turn of solitaire each, search, synchro/xyz summon, repeat. Haven't played too Magic so can't really tell about what's going on there right now.
But in all honestly, Hearthstone compared to Magic/YGO is like comparing tic-tac-toe to chess.
"un'goro will be the first time we will ever have a control meta"
yea sure now we have a meta where druid and warlock are almost completely unplayable, games end by turn 5, 2 out of 9 quests are playable and even Savannah Highmane being too slow in hunter.
Used to be my golden Flamewakers, but now since they have parted and joined the Firelord in the abyss of absolute oblivion (aka wild), I had to say goodbye to them.

All these unnecessary nerfs (specifically, Ironbeak Owl, Keeper of the Grove Molten Giant, Execute, Blade Flurry, Leper Gnome, Knife Juggler, Arcane Golem, Abusive Sergeant, Azure Drake,Ancient of Lore) have completely killed all variation and options in the meta games. Everything has become overly polarized and the situation for F2P (I'm P2P but I understand what's going on) has never been this awful before.

This brawl should honestly be removed, it's not enjoyable at all. Doesn't promote any sense of strategy whatsoever.
