The servers get a lot of traffic the day of release because so many people are buying it. pretty much the same reason you can pre-order any popular product in reality. get ahead of the lag (crowds of people) and play it exactly when you get it

I mean there isn't much more to it. If people are going to go for golden versions of cards, then they will. You're question is just as redundant as his answer. The only thing that would really influence it for most is the playability of the card, and whether you can actually make decks that have him work a decent amount of the time so you dont have a golden card that you have to build an entire deck around only to rarely see it actually played.
      And the only way we will know how playable a C'thun deck is, is too see it in action versus all the other WoToG decks people come up with, which will probably take a while.

Well there were cards that approached this level of RNG or got kinda close to it, but they were completely unplayable due to that fact. but this card is unplayable in a good way - as in so much rediculous stuff can happen off of it that you can build a deck around it and have a ton of fun. Blizzard nailed this card in my opinion. An absolute competitive piece of shit, but one of the most hilarious cards that we may randomly come across. Just imagine Unstable Portaling this in the tavern Brawl this week.... oh god.

And now for two years you can't make a hearthstone deck that depends on one cost spells.  I mean, there's certainly many decks that don't, but there's at least three in rotation that *do*.  That's kinda... not okay.

Ok so Unlicensed Apothecary is the main combo guy to use.

Apothecary, Treachery, coin Leeroy is 16 dmg

Apothecary all ready out, Treachery, Leeroy 16dmg

Apothecary, Treachery, pass (blanking there own summons), next turn leeroy 16dmg

In wild you have:

Play Emperor with PO, Leeroy, Apothecary, Braan & Treachery in hand. Next turn Braan, Apothecary, Treachery, Leeroy, PO for 30dmg at 10 mana (15 before reduction) note all one offs to combo fits into reno decks.

At 4 it would have been an auto-include. At 3 is in conflict with lots of other cards. Still very good, though.

On one hand, I'm glad that they're making Epics into unimportant, niche, shitty cards again and not make them absolutely essential for everything and must-crafts.

On the other hand, pulling shitty epics you'll never get to use in any deck trying to compete feels really bad.

So terrible, prolly one of the worst cards revealed so far.

Decent rogue weapon, it only took 3 years.

I feel that having a 3/3 clone is pretty dumb, especially when you just want the effect, a 1/1 will suffice. This is why revealing single cards at a time is trash, if there is some kind of awesome synergy, we're left in the dark and only getting more frustrated as bad cards get revealed. 

Next expansion we'll get a crab that eats Jade Golems, you'll see.

Even better if it also shuffles 3 copies into your deck on trigger.

Yes, aggro will be dead.. you will never see aggro again once the expansion hits..

but seriously, just understand that aggro will never die, and it should not die.. aggro decks have a role in the meta, as well as control, midrange or whatever.. you cant just kill aggro, you would kill the game..
