posted a message on 17.6 Balance Updates - Many Nerfs planned for July 14th!

Reading the comments and game knowledge of hardstuck gold players is very enlightening at the end of a days work!

Overall, I like the nerfs besides the Druid one, that one doesn’t accomplish much of anything imo.

posted a message on Balance change for July 14th

These changes are going to cause Priest to spike, which in turn will increase the presence of Quest Warlock. I will be dusting all these cards minus dragon caster and just sit on the dust till I see the new cards. Worse case scenario can re craft for no loss. Highlander Hunter won’t be using DQA, instead Nagrand slam probably does the job. For decks like Mage, Frizz Kindleroot will really see a lot more play because it’s the only card that can make DQA playable now...

posted a message on What is better. Wild or Standard?

As soon as the standard rotation of expansions become stale, the wild player base rises. Wild is the place where you can see control decks actually have a chance against aggression with cards like Zilliax, Antique healbot, Reno Jackson. In the current standard card sets, there is no neutral card control decks can use to sustain some life in the early to mid game...

Personally, I prefer to split up hearthstone into two accounts; one for each format as it’s lighter on the dust you need to spend. Lot of the time people dust their wild collection for standard cards and I have no interest doing that!

    Hello Rudefruit,

The Hero card is purely for the hero power, primarily for the priest matchup. It’s probably the best Galakrond battlecry when it comes to no invokes as well. Hoard Pillager is a greedy option that I would add if the meta were a bit slower. You can cut something like a Restless Mummy for it and try it out though!

I don’t have any issues with constructive criticism, you gave a solid amount of that in the Dh guide with I appreciate. But since then every time I see you in any thread it’s bashing people’s decks. If you don’t believe me, check the guys timeline.

There you go criticizing again, EVERY warrior deck has atleast 3 weapons, doesn’t mean we need to add a hoard Pillager or Goon, get over yourself.

Thanks for your downvote for facing 2 decks, and I’m featured a good bit because the majority say my decks work. Luck gave you the short end of the stick in said games. Druid is the hardest matchup.

Also, just going around to decks and criticizing everything is a very weird thing for someone to do. Actually play the deck with  a respectable sample size  then comment in the future.

I’ve faced 1 highlander hunter where I didn’t get highlander deactivation and decimated him anyways. Note: Jack of all trades master of none. It isn’t as good at shuffling bombs as bomb warrior but it has cards like DQ Alex, Galakrond, Zeph etc instead....

posted a message on Galakrond Dragon Highlander

I have made this deck a couple months back, (literally 28/30 cards were identical) and it sounds great on paper, but in play not having the galakrond priest value and removal makes this deck fall way short. What is the point of the deck when the galakrond priest is half the cost and better in literally every single matchup.
This deck just auto loses to Galakrond priest on top of that. Just check out NA Grandmasters and LanguageHacker trying to run Highlander Priest against a usual Galakrond priest from Nalguidan week 6. (He had no chance...) The only thing this deck is better at is the Fun you get out of it.

TL:DR This deck is just a more expensive yet worse version of Galakrond Priest.

Clarification: By Galakrond Priest i mean the other version of the deck with dupes.

    Hello Descy,

Thanks for the positive feedback, I try to put a lot of effort into the guides to get the idea and gameplay of the deck across as thoroughly as possible. As for the priest matchup, it’s a 15-20 minute game but one that I am yet to lose. GALAKROND ASAP in this matchup, any kind of control Galakrond or highlander priest doesn’t run nearly enough taunts to stop 3 damage face every turn! Plus with a weapon equipped that’s 6 damage and the addition of Grommash Hellscream with inner rage is 18 burst in a turn!!

Galakrond is in the decklist specifically for those pesky priests!

Lol it’s basically, being the reactive deck till you galakrond, then you “turn the tables” and become the aggressor/play proactively!!

Depends on the matchup, If you think that you need the devastation for a clear, or for board buffs then greed him. Most of the time I end up dropping him without a devastation unless I’m facing a Druid or some kind of Murdoch’s pally.
