    The closest thing to that card is probably a choice between Rustsworn Initiate , Loot Hoarder , Mana Reservoir , Kobold Geomancer or whatever you find works best for you depending on if you're looking for more +spell damage or more draw. Bloodmage Thalnos is one of a kind for covering all of the above!

    Glad to hear it. I'm leaning toward having 2 sludge slurpers again somehow (so much value). Anyway, I'm really enjoying working off your deck idea.  Thank you big time for posting it!

    Ah, yes the late game does change a bit because of hero power. It may or may not balance out because of the extra cheap minions for stat bodies, but I've had some fights where players ignore my cheap draw minions because they assume they're only of use for drawing some sorta of combo while not considering the +spell power buff from Ancient Mage. I'm curious to know how it works out for you.

    I think the main reason I changed those cards is out of sheer frustration when going against Togwaggle/Galakrond Rogue with the secret package. If you don't have minions on board to trigger the secrets then they can just play Blackjack Stunner (remains active while having secret in play) to return your big minions to hand (and cost 2 more) and you're pretty much out of luck after they chain that!

    If you have any tips or suggestions please share. This deck is super fun and nostalgic, feels like a real elemental shaman build.

    Just wanted to ad that In one of my edits of this deck I included the shaman legendary weapon Fist of Ra-den to learn that all 1-cost spells ALWAYS summon the 1-cost priest legendary Reliquary of Souls which is super funny when you're at a losing state and need lifesteal.

    Hello GayPirate!

    I've played this deck the last 2 days and have been having a blast. I've modified this deck more than a few times only to restore the identity you have provided with a few card changes that I will list below. The main reason I've made changes is because I felt that it needed more reactive card draw. Drawing with totems can feel a little too slow at times when you need the damage to finish off other aggro decks especially when fighting against DH/warrior/rogue. I got rid of lightning storm which at first seems counter productive, but by adding more stat'd draw minions you create more pressure early game to help clean up the board.

    Here's what I did and found success so far (keep in mind that I am still in diamond ranks):

    -2x Mana Tide Totem
    -1x Sludge Slurper
    -1x Lightning Storm
    -1 Cobalt Spellkin (questionable, I really like this card but it sucks dying before I can use it)

    +1x Shaman Quest
    +2x Novice Engineer
    +2x Questing Explorer

    It becomes a very consistent cycle deck by adding the quest for additional draw and give more reactive plays rather than having to wait for end of turn card draw. One very cool interaction is quest turn one, then on turn 2 coin + Marshspawn for free card discovery and a still very well stat'd minion. I always mulligan for Arcane Watcher or Marhspawn, sometimes settling for Questing Explorer or Novice engineer for turn 2 cycle for the 3 costs. The quest can be completed and I've won games with double spell power battlecry then finishing with 1 cost spells.
