4 mana tutor for a 4 cost minion, play it, and gain 6 armor on top of that? What's the downside? This seems really really strong.

It's a 2 mana shield slam that can be blocked by taunt and damages you. The trick to making this card good is actually getting use out of its second point of durability... which is difficult, because unless you have tons of armor, attacking with this weapon into a creature will cause you to lose a good chunk of your armor.

It has potential though, it's cheap and promises a 2-for-1. It doesn't go into every deck is all.

Not that good. If the enemy has a 4+ attack minion, it is just a 1/4 for 3 mana. Even if it spawns 1 ghoul, it still feels inferior to Infested Tauren, and it doesn't seem good enough to build around.

Imp Gang Boss was much better, since it spawned its creature even if it died, had tribe synergy for things cards like Demonwrath, and had enough attack power to actually matter.

Hope that no good combo ever appears in hunter... being able to tutor for copies of a key card is extremely powerful.

Anyone who thinks this weapon is too weak is too accustomed to warrior. (Fiery War Axe is OP)

Rallying Blade is a 3 mana 3/2 weapon that sees play, and is very frequently played without making use of its battlecry.

Rogue already uses Deadly Poison to get a 3 mana 3/2 weapon very frequently (admittedly Deadly poison is slightly superior due to spell synergy and being able to pay the mana across two seperate turns... I'd play 4 deadly poisons in many decks if I could though)

posted a message on New Warrior Card Reveal - Dead Man's Hand

This doesn't have any immediate impact on the board in exchange for a card, so it'll only see play in a slow control meta.

The "avoid fatigue" effect is only applicable in a very small number of games.

So really the only effect is that it slightly improves the average quality of your lategame cards (because you probably already played all the early game cards in your hand). Is that effect worth spending a deckslot for? I doubt it.

    It's a fun card though.

Bad card. Only redeeming factor is it makes Anyfin Can Happen paladins cry.

Bleh stats, an effect that the opponent can choose to play around or not as convenient for him, and the upside is minor if anything. Even in the best case scenario if you play this versus miracle rogue, you get a hand full of coins, and burn the top card of your deck. Mana acceleration for turn 6 that your opponent can play around trivially? I don't think so.

    Bad card.

Yeah, this card isn't bad, it just has the problem that you play around it with the exact same tactics as an existing secret (Mirror Entity) Play a small minion, or a minion where most of its value is in the battlecry.

Secrets are more interesting when they require a different way of playing around them than past secrets. Like hunters, who have secrets where you need to avoid attacking face, or avoid attacking minions, or avoid casting spells, or avoid using hero power, or attacking with a cheap minion first, etc.

posted a message on New Warrior Card - Thorium Knuckles

Yeah, this is pretty bad. The only real perk of this weapon is if there's enough support in warrior to keep buffing it so you get more than 3 swings, and get extra value.

As is, it's a slow card that's hard to get full value out of in a class that already uses plenty of slow cards that are easy to get good value out of. It isn't strong enough early-game to compete for a slot in surviving until you get your big threats (a 4 drop that's only good against 2-health minions, which the opponent isn't going to be playing many of after turn 2) and it competes with Firey War Axe early game and Gorehowl late game for the weapon slot.

I don't see this seeing much play at all.

6/5 of stats for 4 mana in the typical case, plus since it's a continuous effect, your opponent can't really ignore it and leave it up. Solid.

posted a message on New Paladin Card - Grimestreet Protector

Seems like a win-more card. To get full value out of it you'll need board control: a board of at least two minions, preferably somewhat strong ones, at the start of your turn. Even then, is this really the best 7-drop you can find?

If you want to play a big threat, there's plenty of those already. If you want a slightly below-average body for your mana that also gives divine shield, argent protector already exists and is hardly played. Why would you put this in your deck?

posted a message on New Rogue Legendary Card Reveal - Shaku, the Collector

Well, at its worst, it's like a 2/3 draw a card for 3 mana that the opponent wants to kill, not too bad. (Important that you still get the effect even if you don't hit face) Tempo loss vs card advantage... if only rogue had the tools for control, it'd be great, but unless we get some solid healing/armor rogues can reliably have in their deck, it won't see play.

I completely hate this card. -_- I've never seen it in a deck, only seen it as the worst possible result from a Piloted Shredder. At least Doomsayer and Lorewalker Cho are sometimes good for you.
