Alright, after my temper tantrum post earlier, I am coming to the community looking for help so I can become a better arena player. Here is my most recent run, it's one of my better ones at 3-3.
I must say after reading a couple posts on these forums I felt more confident making trades and decisions thanks to the feedback I've seen here. I appreciate any thoughts, I know I have a long way to go but I really want to improve, I enjoy the game a lot! Thanks in advance y'all!
What Zashiki is true and what I have to say is globally the same so I had a look at your winning game.
Game 2:
turn 2 I would have coined Tar creeper, you played a turn 2 a minion which he can trade in easily and left you with a 1/1 while he could have played a strong turn 3. It happens that he choose to ramp leaving you in a good position.
With tar creeper in place I could have played the worgen on turn 3 which he would no have been able to remove, and hidden behind the tar creeper you could try to get him get good value
You won that game for two reasons : his weak turn 3 and his missplay of playing a moat lurker into your mirror image. If he had traded and played violet illusionist on turn3, turn 4 he could have played mark of the wild and hero power cleaning your board while keeping a 6/2 on board.
While I would've made a couple different choices in the draft, there was no way for you to draft a amazing deck. Which you can't avoid. Sometimes you just don't get offered the cards.
