Chromaggus is one turn earlier, doesnt die to bgh and draws cards that are actually useful (hence they are in my deck, so they better are).
The question is if Chromagus interacts with Nefarian. Turn 8 Chromagus, turn 9 Nefarian +4 spells?
Nefarian doesn't draw a spell, but copies ones in your opponent's deck. So by logic I don't think that would work.
Mhm, yeah. But what about Ysera then. It even says "draw a Dream card"! If those 2 interact I see no reason to EVER play Neferian. Time will tell, I guess.
A lot of people are severely underestimating this card ...some reasons that come to my mind:
1. it is the same as with neptulon: any late game thread that has "draw 1+X cards" on it is very good! even if the cards are random!
2. I just browsed a bit through the spells of most classes and there is actually very few really bad things ... sure, there is Shield Slam and deadly poison in non armour, non weapon decks, but still, in piloted Shredder there was also the possibility of doomsayer, did this make him "bad"?! - you just have to see the average here, and the average is pretty good! Even something like Recycle or the aformentioned Cobra Shot are decent when you get them for free and late in the game, when their overpricing doesn't hurt you that much!
3. Nefarian is a way to draw cards without going to fatigue in control mirrors
4. the comparision to Ysera isn't as lopsided as somebody claimed: Ysera only draws you one card immediately and you cannot play the card directly, even if its casting cost allows for it. In the world where your opponent doesn't have BGH, 8/8 is better than 4/12... and you will play Nefarian along with other BGH targets that probabyl already drew it out
5. It is a dragon, and this will matter
So, in conclusion: It will be played, maybe even a lot - depending on dragons being a deck and the controllyness of the meta
1. Neptulon gives you 4 Murlocs to work with. You don't know which of them you get, but you know they will be low cost minions you can plan and work with - like combo'ing them with Bloodlust. This is what I call calculated *good* rng.
2. Piloted Shredder is also random, but the outcome is very rarely bad. Even a Doomsayer or Lorewalker Cho can work in your favor, while Nefarian WILL give you cards that are downright useless to you. Warriors are arguably in the best spot, and I actually could see Warriors at least try Nefarian.
3. Like Ysera. (I assume you mean instead of using card draw minions or spells, right?)
4. The vast amount of the cards gained from Nefarian won't be played in the same turn either due to his 9 mana cost. And even if we would live in a world without BGH, a 4/12 with such a back-breaking, ongoing effect is certainly not worse than a plain 8/8. Great, you can run Nefarian into a Giant and have an equal trade, or you can have your opponent trying desperately to remove Ysera by running the Giant into her in the next 2 turns (while trading equally with the Giant). Of course it depends on the situation of the board, but a 4/12 is definitely not worse than a 8/8.
5. If it will matter for anyone, it will be Ysera. She does what Nefarian does, just one thing different and the other simply more reliable. Seriously, why would anyone play the spell lottery with Nefarian if you could have a downright broken card with Ysera? It simply makes no sense to me. "He is fun" is an argument, but when a card is discussed on Hearthpwn it's usually about cold, heartless value.
Yeah, sorry Nefarian. I want to be your bro, I really do, but I would take one of the above cards over 2 random class spells any day. I will just craft Ysera and imagine that she is the reward for getting full BRM :)
Maybe this is really a catchup card for new players or so.... but then again, BRM equals 35 packs...

Edit: Woops, Stat1cVo1D beat me to it.

35!!!
Doesn't sound too good to me...?
What are you guys getting hyped for? It's not like you get 2 copies of whatever your opponent has in his deck (that would be amazing, calculated rng).
Maybe I'm super blind, but this guy here costs 9 mana. Nine. For 2 random spells and a 8/8 body.
