actually waiting for neutral cards to make the dragon synergy isnt going to happen imo (even if it does it will require some more class cards to make it more solid).. as mentioned above the class cards will be the cherry of this adventure and we might see dragon related class cards (i really hope for druid dragon minion) .. this is a good direction blizzard are heading and do you know why? neutral cards shouldnt be the backbone of your deck/strategy.. this way many decks start to look pretty similar no matter what class u are playing with (see dr.boom, kel thuzad, piloted shredder for example). If we get more unique class tools it will shake things up even further .
edit: also about my post/attitude i just think that time teached us something (which newer players seem to not know) since naxx release till now so many wrong predictions have been made, not only about cards that are good but considered bad, but the opposite aswell. I just think it's stupid to jump into very early conclussions about what is good and what is bad. it doesnt hurt anyone but it makes you people with the early predictions look kinda stupid
@Redoing yeah exacly what i was thinking about.. why arent they giving us a bit more spicy stuff if they want us to pre-order.. i guess there will be more cards introduced tommorow or the day after.. it's good marketing strategy to show us good stuff right the day before the pre-order so people jump on the hype train and pre-order even if they weren't going to do it in the first place
i know i just dislike how people jump into very dramatic conclussions about cards so early.. i'ts just i entered the dragon egg thread and was thinking "hell this card is interesting.. maybe there will be some awesome combos and/or synergies comming with other BRM cards) then i read trough the comments and 90% of people were trying to fit the card in zoo or compare it to nerubian egg while calling it awful and useless.. thats just an advice there from me.. ofcourse as veiledsyn mentioned only time will show :)
BRM is 31 cards - we got 9 of team revealed.. pretty much ~30% of it is shown so far now imagine naxx was never released and u dont know any card from it + try to react to them like you see it for the first time I will give u 30% of naxx introduced here (naxx is 30 cards so pretty much 9 cards) and u will tell me if NAXX will be good or bad expansion based on these Poison Seeds Maexxna Dancing Swords Wailing Soul Stoneskin Gargoyle Deathlord Nerub'ar Weblord Echoing Ooze Unstable Ghoul
Naxx looks totally awful and gimmick so far to me.. i don't expect it to shake the meta at all and probably isn't worth pre-order or even buying to stay competitive right? what i'm trying to prove here is a point.. many of these cards look bad on their own or niche.. but some of them proved pretty good after release esp in combos, while others - yes.. they are gimmicks.. i'm just trying to say that u can't judge on whole BRM by seeing 30% of the set so far.. if something the 30% of BRM looks better than the 30% of naxx here for sure.. I'm making this thread becouse lots of people seem to totally ignore the upcoming 20 new cards and try to judge cards on their own, putting them in the current meta and trying to fit them in current archeotypes and calling them bad/useless after.. edit: let's not forget how just few cards out of the 30 (like sludge belcher,KT,zombie chow, webspinner, mad scientist, haunted creeper, nerubian egg and loatheb) totally shaked and changed the whole meta (and thats just 8 cards there)
