I can bump her up to 6/6, but control decks don't really do a whole lot these days. She's meant to be more of a Loatheb, slowing down your opponent so you can gain tempo. I'll see what I can do to that end.
Your showcases were the ones we already used as showcases during the previous competitions or we choose from any of our sets?
The rules state 3 from this week, 3 from the past weeks. They don't state any other restrictions beyond that, so feel free to re-showcase cards if you want.
Erm... no. I added 3 days from the original end date, Jan. 17, so it ends on Jan. 20. As stated in the opening post, all end dates are at 9 PM EST. 5 hours from now.
I don't mind extending the contest for 24 hours if need be, but that'll be the final extension.
Anybody has make its custom class thread yet? I want to take a look so I know what exactly do I have to post (the entire class, only latest set, and so on)
You can just look at Sea Witch or Ninja in my signature. Ninja is more recent.
As I thought, Uncorrupt is too hard to work with. Though I don't think it's anymore complicated as a keyword compared to "Corrupt Again". It'd have to be a very divergent tech card at the very least, but probably not worth exploring that design space.
Summoned Security is either best left at 4/4 or 3/4. It should be well-statted due to the precedent of Swamp King Dred, which saw no play.
Poisonous is part of Sanitation Professional's design. It's either threatening opposing minions, or forcing your opponent to trade inefficiently to preserve their board.
Swamp king didn't have lifesteal tho. And i suggest removing Poisonous from Sanitation Professional mostly due to card text space. Feels very clogged. You had to reduce text size by a lot to fit within 4 lines and it's noticeable.
Yeah so I traded a lot of stats for Lifesteal. Swamp King Dred also attacks more than once.

I only have a few cards done, but they kind of bend design space. Would like thoughts:
Riftblade's role in the Faire is security. Wild Hunt Outsider is a non-Faire themed minion, but I tried to work with a flipping Corrupt/Uncorrupted minion.
Design Ethos:
Summoned Security is a one-off Dred. It's basically a telegraphed Snipe that might leave behind a 4/1 Lifesteal. Might drop down to 4/3 or 3/4.
Sanitation Professional was interesting to balance. Essentially, she forces the opponent to either deal with an X/4 with just minions, or waste a spell to turn her into an Emperor Cobra or even a 2/2. Could see a change to 3/3 if too strong, but I think 2/4 is a sweet spot.
Wild Hunt Outsider, not sure if this is good enough, honestly.
Could we perhaps delay the deadline by a few days? It seems everyone is taking it very slow this round, some even might drop out. Since it's the final phase and we have to make more cards than usual, more time seems appropiate, right?
I've unfortunately decided to drop out, unless I really turn on the jets. I have work tomorrow so that's even less time for me to make 15 cards. Time will have to tell if I reverse this decision. Felt a little burnt out as well as being a bit busy this week. I'll still get the voting thread up.
You can probably find better art for Slap the Bass. Also, having two cards that fit similar roles in a single set (Slap the Bass, Drummollusk) is fine, but if you get better ideas, I'd take one out.
Enchanted Jellymaid's a little weird unless she gets strong token support as she is a token synergizer but without tempo.
This has been a bit of an issue with your keyword... it just doesn't do anything by itself. Prepared Pupil is basically just a glorified Argent Squire, especially because I don't see any synergy in the cards you've posted this week with Omen. Furthermore, Dual-class cards are supposed to synergize very well with 2 classes. Paladin can't really do anything with this. They already have lots of good 1-drops early game so this isn't needed. They don't have any Divine Shield synergy cards at the moment either.
Beginner Prophet is probably a double-edged sword. Your secrets are 1-mana and therefore have to be fairly low impact. Shuffling a bunch of them into your deck will dilute it.
Coach Andrik is excellent on paper. But do remember Paladin already has access to Lord Barov.
Just a bit of flavour, wouldn't chemistry make more sense than physics for Elementals?
Someone already mentioned Wormhole's problems, I agree with them.
If we go by Basic and Classic set standards, Reinforced Battle Suit *should* cost 3. But at this point in the powercreep curve, I don't think it really matters. Up to you, I guess, if you want it at 2 or 3.
Thanael's concept doesn't work. It basically cannot be traded into by anything with less than 6 Health. Furthermore, with its current wording, it is immune to damaging spells.
So, Avatar of the Horned Rat, your class doesn't have any shuffling into deck mechanics, right? If so, then this card is fine.
Weeping Blades seems pretty counter-productive seeing how your class plays. You'll mostly have 1 to 2 Attack minions on board. On the flip side, if your class is able to amass big minions easily, this becomes a better Mass Hysteria.
Okay, so I'm not sure I understand the challenge for Scholomance. Should we make only 4 dual-class cards instead of the 8 each class got in this expansion ? Can we choose which class we team up with ? Can we share the design of dual-class cards between the two contestants who chose this expansion ? Should we make one card of each rarity like official dual-class card sets or can we use the repartition we want ?
Well if you make 8 cards instead of 4, then you'd have to make 19 cards instead of 15, as Demon hunter got extra cards during Ashes of Outland and Faire. I suppose if both you and Mvon are ok with making 19 we can go with that.
And about sharing dual-class cards between contestants, I want to make sure if you guys were ok with doing 19 cards instead of 15 first.
Rarities, thought that was a given, I'll add that in.
How will be the winner chosen? Will it be the one who get most votes in this phase, or the one who will have the highest sum of votes through all phases?
Votes this phase. No votes were carried through during this contest so it doesn't make sense to sum the votes at the end.
Yep, I need to know that as well, also as soon as we all know wich expansions do we get to make the better (most obvios case is having to cooperate to make dual-class in scholomance)
I'm not sure what your question is, you didn't quote anything. I'm guessing challenges?
Aw. Too bad. Congrats to all those who make it. Will drop in here and there to give my feedback.
The votes for middle 4 or so were neck and neck for a very long time, which is why I pre-emptively said only the bottom 4 would be eliminated as I suspected there might be a tie, maybe even a three-way tie.

I'm not in control of that. I messaged the main moderators about this already, however. It'll probably go up tomorrow morning.

Ok I may have procrastinated and wasted the three day extension...
I am going full tilt trying to fill in those 15 cards. Here's what I have so far:
Is anything completely broken beyond belief? If it somewhat passable, it goes, at this point. I only have 3 hours to make 7 more cards.
That's up to you.
The rules state 3 from this week, 3 from the past weeks. They don't state any other restrictions beyond that, so feel free to re-showcase cards if you want.

Sure I can do that. Let's say another 3 days?
