Does it consume lots of time/money to play both HS and MTGA?
I play magic for 5 months just 25 minutes per day on average and i have all tier 1 decks and a couple tier2 decks. But i am good at both constructed and draft modes so i farm them like there is no tomorrow on saturdays.
Overall is a generous game if you manage your resources correctly but is nowhere near as generous as gwent or eternal. The only hurdle in magic is collecting the rare lands which are necessary but unfun to collect.Once that is out the way, your collection growth snowballs very fast. But even till then you can play a mono colour tier 1 deck basically the first days.
while MTGA gives you a lot more packs than hearthstone, I think its harder to get a large collection because there are so many more cards in magic than in hearthstone, so packs are less consistent, and you need more cards to make a deck.
also I dont think they give enough wild cards.

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
I want to make a black-blue-red deck (I am pretty sure that is Grixis) that uses one copy of every nicol-bolas card there ever was.
a couple of weeks ago I baught all the nicol bolas' I did not have, and once I can get the one from war of the spark, (hopefully through pre-release or draft) I can make a awesome tri-colored planeswalker (but moslty NB) deck.
