I'm thinking about investing in a good ergonomic gaming chair, but when I checked online there's so many to choose from that I'm not sure which one is suited for me. I've been having a lot of pain in my lower spine recently, so I went to see a doctor and I've taken both x-rays and MRI's. From what the doctor could see on the tests there was nothing wrong with me, so she concluded the pain was most likely due to my posture adjusting to my sitting habits. I realized that using a regular wooden kitchen chair for work and gaming probably wasn't the best idea..
I'm looking for a chair in the 200 – 300$ price range, you can't really put a price on having a good back without pain. Preferably provide links to reviews of the chair you're suggesting. Keep in mind extra lumbar support is essential for me.
Just quickly checking online, these seem like the brands that are available where I live (Norway):
Why are you posting this on a Hearthstone forum? Just curious :|
This is in the off-topic forum, anything goes. But to answer the question, asking other gamers a gaming related question is sensible, no? I'm sure there are other hearthstone players that use gaming chairs. Secondly I'm not active on any other gaming related forum so it was my best option other then reddit :)
I have an AK racing chair just got it this past March for my birthday. The chair is excellent and I can't find anything about it I dislike. A huge upgrade over my basic $20 Walmart computer chair.
Look, I want to tell you something because you're very dear to me. And I hope you understand that it comes from the bottom of my damaged, damaged heart. You are the finest piece of ass I've ever had and I don't care who knows it. I am so glad that I got to roam those hillsides.
Besides the chair, remember to exercise (not too much running or it will get worse), do some mobility work and get some massage. If you spend most of your day sitting you will hurt your lower back anyway, it will just take longer than with a wooden chair. Invest time in your body, low back problems are almost always chronic and believe me you don't want to live with one. Good luck traveler

The bestOffice high-back recliner chair came in today and me and my grandpa put it all together, it got easy until we tried to screw in the arms and somehow the right arm was just too difficult cuz the part where you have to screw in the inside of the back piece was way too deep and no matter how hard we pushed it the screw wouldn't get in. Took us longer than we thought to get that arm to stay still. Overall the chair is in great condition regardless of the struggle we had. I bought this for myself because I finally got a desk for my monitor that was sitting in my room since christmas and now I can use it for work or play on my Laptop or WiiU/PS4.
