I’m familiar with the pros that play on ladder and arena, but are there any streamers that play (almost) exclusively in casual mode?
Given the more unpredictable matchups, I can imagine this would pull an audience, although maybe not as big an audience as ladder and arena, since it’s harder to glean insight and tips from players who face both on- and off-meta decks in a game mode that fosters less of a “play to win” and more of a “play to see what happens” atmosphere.
And I’m not talking about any old streamer who happens to understand how to get a stream going. I mean a streamer who is also notably skilled, models than the majority of players.

I mean some streamers play off meta decks like savjz, tidesoftime, disguised toast but they do mostly in legend dumpster. Apart from that, I don't even know if there are even wild streamers. You have a point though, I'd watch that shit.

Have you played Casual? I'm saying this because 90% of what you face in Casual is exactly the same as in Ranked, except piloted by players with significantly less understanding of the game. There is mostly no difference when it comes to decks being played, that is the main reason I don't play Casual, even if I want to play Gimmick decks, I just run into the same assholes playing Odd Hunter and the likes who just go there for either quests or gold grinding against easier opponents...
I play casual frequently, and you’re right: a big portion of the players are playing meta and grinding out for gold. But the small portion that only lives in casual is what would make the difference to me.

It's possible someone does but I kinda doubt it.
Compared to ranked, Casual just doesn't have the rewards. No progress towards 500 wins/golden hero also hurts a lot.
