I have been playing Hearthstone just over an year and I haven't found any avid players of this game in any Delhi conventions or online forums. Its hard to find Indian gamers who are interested in this game. If you are an Indian Hearthstone player, how is your experience with the game?
I am an Indian player. I live in Mumbai :) Hearthstone is FANTASTIC! Absolutely love it, although recently my playtime has reduced coz of other responsibilities and what with all the people playing Pirate Warrior :P
Two of my friends who play Hearthstone live in Kolkata :) One of whom introduced me to Hearthstone. I REALLY wish I had listened to him a year ago. That would've really helped with my collection :P
By the way, we all play on EU server. I'll add you and we'll chat up :)
Hey, nice to see a thread like this showing up on the forum.
I've been playing for over a year too, but not so much anymore. Have gravitated to other CCGs which I consider to be a lot more fun.
Sadly, I only know a couple of people who have played HS before, where I live (New Delhi). Most have just vaguely heard of the game. All this might be because WoW never really was a BIG thing here (speculation) and other card games like MTG never really got a start here. All I remember is playing Duel Masters when I was a kid in school, doubt anything else since then took off.
A thread for Indian players with recent updates, was just looking for it. So, hey I am a couple of months in and am pretty much hooked. Even I never played WoW but somewhat knew the lore but love this game regardless. Though still grinding a lot and unlocking adventures (f2p) , its still pretty fun. But really, this game is unheard of in most circles in India. Anyways I play on the NA server, so feel free to add me if you are a regular player.

F2P is a hard yet satisfying way to play in HS. I hope you are spending gold to play arena instead of spending it on packs.
I'm an Indian too, and I have been playing for almost one year. According to me these are the problems for hearthstone not being that famous in India:
1) Size: It's too big for a game to be in phones. Most of Indians play on phones. The size of the app is too big to even think of downloading. My friends refused to download the game just because of that.
2) Lag: the animation on phone lags alot, like alot alot. Even the match making animation lags like hell, sometimes you even miss your turn.
3) Online: hearthstone consumes alot of data. Which is quite expensive in India, yes I know Jio is there now but what will happen after 31st March? Back to square one.
4) Type of game: hearthstone is not a flashy fancy game, I myself used it on my phone first and then on my PC. It's hard to see that the game is good just by the screenshots of the game for a person who has never played such a game, people will obviously prefer FIFA NFS GTA or counter strike
I play in NA, max rank reached = 5, currently just fed up with the meta. Feel free to add me. :)

Its hard to get a decent internet that doesn't disconnect every 5 minutes. Even 4G or 3G signal breaks far too often that its a frustrating experience to play HS on mobile. I prefer to play ladder and arena on my PC just to avoid disconnects and stick to playing casual and brawl on mobile.
Thats why didn't even try the mobile version. Just play on PC. Also due to so few players, there's really no local community or anything. Like other places have local open tournaments or gatherings, at least I don't know of any. Thus India is also not a listed region for the hearthstone championship for voting of candidates. It be pretty fun if there were gatherings here too.

Interesting journey i had with Blizzard games. Loved Warcraft 3, hooked onto WOW for 2 yrs, stopped playing wow 3 yrs back, was itching to get back at playing blizzard games, but difficult with a 1 yr old who demands your attention, love HS and the fact that playing on my motox is such a smooth affair, no pc/laptop fracas. Hooked for 6 months now, plan to continue at least a year more. Not f2p. Inching towards legend with my pirate warrior on EU server....I know, lol
