Its charm and thematic novelty are hard to enjoy when it is 300% more broken than any other card in the game. I'm all for let sleeping dogs lie when it comes to balance, but this is a little ridiculous. Anyone else feel this way?
Imo jaraxxus is not op but pretty balanced instead. If you dont mantain board control the turn you play him then next round you are probably dead anyway.. The only immidiate way to affect the board is the weapon.. And still if you use it to clear minions your health will drop even lower.. And at 9+ mana that you can actually play jaraxxus most of classes will be able to do 8-10 to damage on you or prepare their play to kill you the turn after that..
Jaraxxus will help you seal an already winning game but if you play him to make a comeback while you dont have strong board presence you most probably will lose anyway..
Its the flavor of the month my friend. I decided just to go with it and make one for myself. Its kinda fun. If your dead set against it then I suggest maybe you come up with a deck to counter it. Be the one who brings it down. James the Giant slayer. I see decks popping up daily now that claim to counter Zoo decks, maybe you can to.
in a defensive perspective Jaraxxus is ok. Restore 14 health and equip a 3/8 weapon for 9 mana
Alextrasza is restore 14 health and put an 8/8 on the board for 9 mana. So in that regard is ok.
In a offensive perspective, Jaraxxus is just sick, and if you are winning a game Jaraxxus just seals the deal, but so does Rag and Ysera. I agree its the better class legendary and i'm sure it would be used in every deck it it wasn't class restricted. But i also feel that if you nerf it, then it will suck. I don't know, maybe the Jaraxxus hero power is a bit too strong. One thing i know, i don't see it being played in the tournaments so it can't be that good. It was my 1st legendary and i played around with him alot when i was trying to learn how to play and it never made me climb the ladder that much. Nowadays i don't play him because i don't play warlock but i might give it another go after this thread :P
In the aggro matchup it's win-more because if you can survive until turn 9, then you will win by your general card's value anyway (as opposed to the weenies-tomatoes of your opponents).
In the control matchup, if you can secure a field of taunters the turn before to prevent burst damage, then turn after that drop Jaraxxus, it's no doubt the turning point of that game.
Because hs at this point is filled with zoo and hunter, both are hyper fast (win before turn 8-9) and have decent reach (Leeroy PO Soulfire, 2 Kill Command hero power), Jaraxxus becomes a liability.

ALL HAIL LORD SPECTRAL!!!
If he's 8 mana then maybe. Definitely not OPed at 9 mana.
I would say he holds #1 class Legendary spot along with Tirion.
And what about grommash?

I don't think that he is OP, actually I have one and I don't even use it...
