Some time ago it was revealed (along with a few examples) of various card backs that would be available in hearthstone, and as far as I'm aware have not been implemented yet. I'm very interested to see what this would entail.
The main thing I'm curious about is if it would change every card, or just your own? And furthermore; would your opponent see your different card backs? I tried looking around on google and stuff and I wasn't able to find any information on the card backs.
Any info/blue posts would be greatly appreciated. I'm particularly interested in the green one myself.
Think I heard it does effect card backs in various UI locations (for instance, opening packs.) Logically it should also change what is shown to your opponent. Beyond that you ironically shouldn't be seeing them much, which kinda defeats the point.

Well you can see we have the original card-back in the options while playing.

Is the thread you are probably referring to. I'm Hoping we get the Pandarian Card Back in 10 days or so when the season ends, but probably not.
Not sure if hyped yet.
