Can someone elaborate as to why some people would use the "ooops" emote when they have clearly misplayed unintentionally or because of bad RNG. I mean isn't it like admitting you made a mistake that your opponent could just take advantage of?
yep, it is, but what I mean to say is why make it all the more obvious... there are also times wherein admitting a mistake means that there was another play in the hand that could be possible but he/she didn't account for all the mana/did the wrong math/etc.
yes, it is to admit that one made a mistake... what I am actually trying to ask is why do some people need to admit they made a mistake? I mean wouldn't that just make it allthe more obvious, it's like saying "oh I made a mistake, take advantage of it bro"
The only "Oops" that makes sense is if you misplay really hard (And I mean REALLY hard, like Wild Pyromancer+Muster, Implosion on divine bubble, silence after you Argus smth, etc...). If you could have mada a play a lot better than the play you actually did, how is the opponent supposed to know you could have done that play at the exact moment you "Ooopsed"?
1. Medivh's "That's folly" emote can be used to comment on opponents' misplays.
2. Sometime it can be a trick to play your opponent, to give him a short while of hope that your missed a lethal or something, and then you kill him or perfectly deal with his board.
3. It can be used to complain that you get bad RNG, just like some peoples' "well played" means their opponents are just lucky bastards
The other day as Paladin in arena, I had redemption in opening hand and no two drop but had scarlet crusader. So I played redemption turn 1 and didn't hero power turn two so redemption wouldn't proc on a silver hand recruit, but said "Oops" to make it seem like I just forgot to hero power.

What do you use oops for
"In this world some people born are like keys that move the world and exist having no connection to the social hierarchy established by man."
Feel free to PM me for help or advice.

Never rubber ducky
You'd think that, but then you reach the next level where people do it to bluff. I don't know if that is successful, but hey... freeroll.

I use Magni's Oops to tell my opponent when they messed up or when they BM me
"That's... not right"
