I just hit 60 with my priest yesterday, and am excited to get Warrior to 60. However, I played 3 games at level 31 and it seemed as if I was getting the same amount of experience as when I played similar games at 59 with my priest. Does your opponent conceding or you conceding affect how much experience is gained?
Do you get experience in custom games with friends?
The longer the battle is the more expirience you get.
Which is actually wrong (in a way). Experience isn't calculated by the time a match takes, or by the amount of turns played. It is based on "actions done" (cardplays, trades etc.). Since you only have a certain amount of time per turn, some people reduce it to "the longer the battle", which in returns lets tons of players wait entire turns before doing something. Of course this has already spread way too much, resulting in more and more players waiting for experience (they don't get).
The most effective way to level heroes is playing vs. friends and doing fasttrades until your decks run out of cards, then someone concedes. Best decks used are tons of charge and carddraw (or heals for warlock). Pretty boring though.

I think you get less experience against AIs than you do against casual opponents, and less against casual opponents than you do in Ranked or Arena. I think I read that on one of the info panels that comes up when you're waiting for an opponent.
The fastest way to level is hands down by playing games against real opponents. This can be done in either play mode or Arena.
Arena may be best (if you're doing well for gold or don't mind spending the money) because you get to use cards you wouldn't have and the wins and losses still grant you experience. The arena cards you get to use would grant you a stronger deck for that class and would give you (a theoretically) high chance to win than with the basic decks you have. Please note that you will only have the option between 3 classes in arena and may not get the one you need to level
You can still create custom decks even at low levels. Whatever common cards you may have earned can help in this cause so you can build stronger decks. In play mode, you can gain the experience in either casual or ranked. There is no experience difference gained there, just your ranking.
Also, games that last longer (in the same level) generally give more experience than quick ending games in my experience.
The only reasons to play against the expert AI is to test a deck you are building before putting it out into real play and to complete the quest that requires you to defeat all Expert AI opponents (which will reward you will gold).

Hey all, (Questions in bold)
I was wondering if there were different ways to level up your hero?
If so is there a faster way to level up?
Do you gain more level points playing Ranked or Arena rather than playing normals or against AI's?
From lvl 20+ I feel as though i'm receiving the same amount of points playing ranked vs playing AI's.
I'm not sure if this has been discussed before and if so can someone point me to the correct thread?
Thanks! ^_^
I do not believe there is a faster way to rank up your hero. As far as I know, ranked, arena, and casual all give the same amount of experience.
If you REALLY want to grind your hero up some levels, I'd suggest playing rush decks so your games end faster.
Also I'm fairly sure the longer the game plays out, the more experience you receive.
Yup.
I have similar concerns

I know this is going to suck, But don't worry about your level you will accumulate the levels eventually and that way it seems like less of a chore.
