Do you think this game will last? It is fun and I see myself logging in to do the dailies most of the time and hop in arena every once in a while, but I don't see it being a game that I will stick with for too long.
I got into the beta 2 weeks ago and I was playing all the time for a while but I've lost the drive to play. I really think there will be a huge boom of people playing when the open beta starts but within a month or two it is going to turn into a game that people play a few times a week then drifts off into not getting played for a large part of the player base.
I'm not saying the game is bad, but in its current state the rewards for playing the game are so small that unless you buy a ton of cards or just play arena you don't have any real reason to play more than the dailies. There really needs to be an update to the rewards system or achievements that get added for people to strive for, to get people to want to play more than just to finish dailies (outside of arena).
This is still just a beta, i'm sure they will add some new reward. At the moment they are just testing the game, the mechanic of the game, they are want to make sure about everything is alright. They have a lot of time to do something.
Yeah, I suppose its just a little discouraging at the moment to log in to get a card pack every 2 1/2 days or an arena entry every 3 3/4 days from dailies. I'm ignoring the almost worthless 1 gold per win. Also, your average player should win 1/2 of their arena matches which puts you out gold by buying into arena, so unless you are better than average you are going to realize quickly that doing arena is a waste of gold.
I doubt that the current rewards for regular play are what they'll be on live. Also, consider that for Arena you're guaranteed to get at least one pack of cards. Since a pack of cards is 100g, you're really only paying 50g for Arena, which you get back in gold+dust at about 4-5 wins.

Yeah, my bad, looking at this thread looks like the average break even point (gold + dust) is 3-4 wins, with 3 being just below break even on average. If you don't care about dust the break even is closer to 6, and if you want to get right back into arena (with a free booster pack) you have to win 7.
